How good are there short blocks. I was thinking about their stage 1 kit.

And I'd prob stay away from IPP from what I've heard.

 

I'm doing a build as well and I'm leaning towards the Forged Performance S1 Shortblock...still researching all other options.

i've searched and i find many shops but the problem is every shop want you to do what they want not what you want !

example : let's say I want a short block that hold 400-450 all day long for same reason why
cannot be done ? why you have to charge me for a block that hold 600-700hp I only want
450hp why I have to bore it 20 over bore not 10 ....etc ( Sucking your blood)

 

you really think that the machine shop costs would be different from boring 10 over to 20 over?

get real.

All the shops do it the same way because thats what parts are readily available on the market at the best prices. Every single shop would spec whatever parts you want. Its not their fault if your combo is non-standard and takes months to get in though...

 

You tend to sell what you know Try listening to the people that do it for a living.
