Howdy.
Built engine
Osiris
PT6266 Vband .84ar
850 injectors
stage 0 CJM RFS
Mesh inlet screen only
Mishimoto Oil cooler kit
3" downpipe to single 3" main exhaust
reverse y pipe, running same duals out the back.
Tuned by Tony Lisa at UMS.
I have all graphs ( a/f, vac boost, hp tq etc) available in photobucket.
I am currently only running my MAP 2
AEM boost OFF/Wastegate spring 11 lbs street gas easy "safe" map. Around 475 whp.
My maps area as follows:
Map 1: pump gas high boost, AEM boost controller on/550 whp
Map 2: pump gas normal boost, AEM OFF/475ish whp
Map 3: pump gas HOT DAY map, more fuel, more timing/ whp unknown
Map 4: Q16 high boost map/ 650 whp
Map 5: Valet
A few things ive noticed I had questions about.
Upon normal driving around town, cruising at mid to low throttle, 45 mph etc.. i get an intermittent squeal/whine like a vacuum leak in a way, more like a squealer bar on a set of brakes.
Curious what that could be or if its common.
Secondly, flame all you want, this is NOT a race car.. its a cruiser..
the smell of pure gasoline is already unbearable. Its ok if IT smells like gas, but now I smell like gas too.. no good.
Test pipes were one thing when NA, but this car smells to high heaven. Like actual gas, not exhaust.
Wondering if anyone has gone w a bolt in 3" HFC, like a metal 200 cell etc... wondering what i can expect to happen w performance.. im ok w some loss btw. Id like to enjoy the car w the windows down.
Lastly, I did throw the SES light the third day of driving it.. p1273 and p1284.
Do you imagine i can use the bung spacers used in test pipes to spacer the sensor out a bit and help that issue or is it generally just the way it is?
Thanks for any input.. i hope i listed enuff here to let u know what my set up is.

Check by the manifold for fuel injector leaks (visualize around injectors and sniff). If that looks fine and AFRs are good, it's just routine rich exhaust smell. Have a 200 cell metal (or even 300 cell) metal cat fabricated and run that routinely. When you want to race, swap it out (v-band connections will make it easy). I run dual electric cut outs pre-cat (and have a 200 cell and 100 cell in series welded into each 3" pipe; needed because cats are less effective farther back - need heat).
Not sure about the squeal?
