Keep laughing. Nobody who knows what they're doing races from idle. Alberto is on the Top 25 Drag lists. You however, have a dyno sheet and street kill claims ...with no proof.

OP-since when does a turbo VQ fall on its face after 4500rpm's?

$100 public bet says you wouldn't match the time I put down in my POS (not at the time though) Turbonetics stock block build. Go run it so we can laugh.

I'll paypal you if I lose.

Well there you have it. A guy trying to talk about something he has zero experience with. It's obvious you have never driven a z,g with a stillen kit or you would know what I meant in that. More speculation trying to sound like you know what a twin charged setup does yet you have never seen one. Hmmmm...

Its 1:30am and I'm not really following but isn't stillen a supercharger setup not turbo?

Turbos pull from whenever it makes boost at until whatever it redlines at

Nice how you cherry picked that portion of Alberto's post and ignored his challenge to match his old stock block Turbonetics 1/4 mile time.

I drove a Stillen setup down the drag strip multiple times back in 2006. Likely before you ever heard or knew of the kit. We all know they are weak, but it didn't fall on its face like you think. I have slips to back that up.

In reality I have not drag experience with your own kit than you do.

Now the challenge...?

Ok. Then you have driven a stillen setup. I guess I didnt get into details but on a hot day, 80+, and I guess I lowballed it but maybe around 5200k that stillen blows nothing but heat, with the stage 4 pulley, and does just drop off. I can see where I confused you when i said 4.5k (turbo). But i meant that i wanted the turbo to take over for the high end where the stillen cant do much.

I cant see your timeslips either.

However, In regards to your challenge. Im going to now let you take your puffed up chest and call you the winner. Here our track sits at 5,800 ft. Its tough to make any decent time slips.

How convenient... Run your mouth about how fast your car is on the street and then use the altitude as an excuse when challenged to prove it at the track.

This thread sucked bad enough without you adding to it.

Im not here saying i can beat any of the forum members stock block records. Im just trying to say that the twin charge setup is not a slow car.

Superchargedg. I take it you are not pursuing this anymore?

And just for the record. I have taken my stillen kit off and sold it. I am moving to the 370z in a few months. Im keeping the Powerlab kit on till then, So ill see just how much better a single turbo is over the Stillen and over them combined. I have never driven this car with just the ST so I may be eating my words soon.

I just wanted to try the twin-charge, which I did and yes it was a fun setup. Hard to beat that sound of two FI kits also.

You guys always bittch about there never being a new question or anything new in the forum. Yet Ive heard nothing but negativity.

So go on and bash me for trying something new................
