We picked up this 04 Z over the weekend for a customer out of North Carolina, customer felt like the motor was starting to have issues so we strapped it on the dyno for some tests, end results the motors compression was just going away... but still made 303whp@7psi! not bad for a bad motor all stock inside with terrible compression!
so after running through everything with the customer we decided to do a full motor build! to get the most power out of this setup, as well as some other go fast goodies!
heres the run down.
-procharger full super charger kit.
-tuned with aero motive fuel computer(possibly thowing uprev on it when complete)
-megan racing header/y pipe/exhaust
-coils
-etc
we will keep you updated on the growing parts list and motor build progression!
should have the motor out this week!

just got here on the JGY lil truck!

you gotta love a matte black car!

where gonna make magic in here

strapped dowwnnn, oh look whats in the background, the JGYshop 500hp b13 drag car!

just to see what were working with, and to see the final outcome when the motors back in to compare
will update soooon!

keen eye sir on the pulley!haha, we noticed that as soon as we got the car from the customer after telling us its adjusted all the way but the belts still sloppy haha...
will update the page today on pics and notes... curently the motor is tore down and waiting on new pistons to replace the old ones(3 out of 6 ring lands destroyed), among other goodies and a proper wheel selection.
and alberto, thats not very nice to talk about someone elses project here... lets keep it professional

Brandon, that's funny you mention that bc I Craigslist 350z from time to time to see if a da is selling good chit for nothing and I remember seeing this thing for the longest time. I remember the ad saying strong motor blah blah. Lol but unfortunate for new owner.
any updates... i was trolling around, searched procharger and this little project popped up
i would be interested in a motor build breakdown if the customer ever went through with this project.

2 things to this statement above.
1.) full motor, not short block.
2.) and most important in this situation. some of our customers make payments on projects. for example, if you only payed for enough to cover the pistons on a 5k build... theres no reason to rush and build a whole motor.
makes sense right?

and in regards to the second comment that makes sense props to you guys for offering that to them!
seems to be a turning point now days LMR offers 0 % financing for 6 months or something crazy
Nobody likes procharger on this forum…I had a good experience with procharger but it does have it's limitation.
how much boost do you think you'll get out of the system? what type of numbers do you expect?

yea dont think of it in a negative way! we know the average person in the scene dosent have 5 grand laying around or what not, so to help everyone out we find a way to make anything happen!
but as for head work, we are not doing a aggressive head build, just a valve job, and clean/inspect everything, it came in the shop with broke ring lands and pieces of piston missing, so we want to make sure no particles found there way into the head and hurt anything.
this is our first procharger car, we have seen other variations of superchargers in the building. but no complaints with this setup yet, we ordered a higher psi pulley kit, we are hopping to be in the 500 range, but again we are still learning the procharger setup and the power they have potential to make.
the one thing we dislke about the kit is the ems, fuel computer setup... no t a fan of that... so we are going to uprev.
