Default Replacement for V3 Vortech Intake Filter

Can anyone direct me to where I can find one? Should I just call vortech and see if they sell it, or are there other choices out there?

Mine's filthy, and I feel turing my AC or heater on, since it's using that filter to channel air into the cabin...

Thanks

I think I found it, thanks. $50 which is kinda steep! I'm sure it's more expensive direct from vortech

it looks like it. i thought we could wash it as well, but i need to confirm it. i think it will be better in the long run just to replace it instead of washing it..

I bought the filter from the site and it didn't have a hole on the side for the hose to insert, do you have to custom cut the hole or I got the wrong one?

Default k an n

K and N says their filters are lifetime filters..just clean it...also, the stock vortech air filter sucks hot air from the engine compartment so I got a silicone connector, a piece of AL pipe and extended the filter to under the bumper about 3 inches so its sucking cool, ambient air, not heated engine compartment air. (no photo of this setup attached)

The attached photo is using a long 12" or so silicone hose with a 90 degree bend to route the filter to under the hood latch, using a larger fliter. I felt the long length decreased performance, but that was a butt dyno. I kept the shortest 3" setup there on out.

hope that helps someone. Oh yeah, the vortech filter change is a knuckle skinner fer shur!

you can cut the hole yourself, but honestly, you don't need to tie that hose into the intake filter. just put a small breather filter on the hose.
