There is nothing wrong with ST's. I have customers in the low to mid 600's on pump gas. One customer made 604whp (DJ dyno) with a 6266 T4 .81 a/r housing at just 15psi of boost and pump gas. No head work, stock cams...ect.

You just need a turbine housing big enough to support the power.

Won't The vband .82 ar 6266 flow more? Than the t3 gt35r what single fuel pump is the best one to get I don't think I'm gonna run e85 and what hp do you think I could makewith the vband 6266 I already have I want to make 5-600whp on pump with a single turbo without supra lag! What turbo do I need that 67 mm u mentioned?

A 62mm turbo won't have lag. The supra turbos you are seeing with lag are 70mm+. Supras with 62 and 67mm turbos have very little lag and boost very fast so you need to look at their boost curves not the monster supras. You also have to understand most of them do headwork with large cams which will push the curve to the right.

The 6266 will make 600 with no problems on our cars. And the 6266 will flow much more than the g35r since it uses a larger turbine wheel. That's the choke point on those gt35 turbos. Nice compressor size but small turbine. Great for stock block to get some nice midrange torque but they lack flow compared to turbos with larger turbine wheels.

Here are some graphs from a supra with 3.4 liter so close to the displacement of our engines.

In Red it's the 6266. Almost 800hp and it hits almost 40lbs of boost by 4k. It's at 20lbs of boost around 3500. I included another graph showing the 6266 getting near 40psi at 4000 rpm as well.

Not sure what graphs you see that have slow boost on these turbos on supras. Most supra guys use a 62 or 67mm for "street" spool.

What ever happened to this. I'm in the same boat w a built motor and a momentum kit instead of pl but considering the swap to a 6266.
