Nissan 350Z - Power Enterprise Twin-Turbo Kit
From the June, 2005 issue of Turbo & High-Tech Performance
Read more: http://www.turbomagazine.com/insidet...#ixzz22DleFkbN
Regarded by consumers as the hottest sport compact vehicle to roll off Nissan's production line within the past decade, the 350Z (Z33) caught the attention of consumers and rekindled the interest of the aftermarket tuner world by combining a sporty exterior, affordable pricing, and a potent VQ35DE power plant. In turn, Power Enterprise Co. Ltd. developed and upgraded a bolt-on twin-turbo kit for the 350Z.
Developed as a complete bolt-on kit for the 350Z, the Z33 twin-turbo kit requires no cutting or modification to the chassis. The power steering cooler and reservoir tank are relocated using brackets provided with the kit. This is done to accommodate the intercooler and turbo piping.
Installing any turbo kit on a 350Z is no walk in the park. To complete the job, expect to spend at least two full days installing the kit. Those who endure the long hours of wrenching will be rewarded handsomely with a 350Z boasting significant horsepower gains. Dyno figures show peaks of 429.2 hp and 414.5 lb-ft of torque at 0.5 kg (7.11 psi) to the flywheel on U.S.-spec high-octane fuel. With boost levels set at the recommended level of 0.3 kg (4.3 psi), the turbo kit produced 385 hp and 374.7 lb-ft of torque to the flywheel. Not too shabby, considering the stock 350Z's 273 hp. This equates to a 156.2 hp increase over baseline at high boost.
Powering the kit are highly responsive and smooth-running PE1420 ball-bearing turbos. The PE1420 sports a 20 A/R exhaust housing ratio and 60mm (outer diameter) compressor wheel. Max flow on each unit is rated at 14m3/min. A Power Enterprise representative states the PE1420 can flow well beyond its rated 350 hp while maintaining a linear boost curve throughout the power band.
The PE1420 ball-bearing turbos come with separative actuators. This enables the user to switch out the actuator spring for a stiffer one. The Power Enterprise kit comes supplied with a number 3 spring, rated at a maximum of 0.3 bar of boost.
For those looking to increase boost levels, Power offers additional springs: number 4 (0.5 bar), number 5 (0.8 bar) and number 6 (1.0 bar).
Newly released for 2005 is a set of cast manifolds. The cast units are available as of April 2005. Consumers may choose between the 304 stainless steel or cast manifolds.
Replacements for the factory fuel system are six 380cc Power Enterprise injectors and a 255-lph fuel pump. Improving flow rate by 40 percent, the multi-nozzled injectors enable a safer air/fuel ratio while improving atomization over the factory injectors.
Also included in the kit is a high-capacity aluminum oil pan. Not only does the new pan improve heat dissipation through its outer cooling fins, the pan increases oil capacity by 1.0 liter. Internal oil strainers minimize oil starvation while under heavy acceleration, braking, and cornering.
MSRP for the kit is $8,480 with a street price of $7,500. When taking into consideration the price of two ball-bearing turbos, a front-mount intercooler and all the materials necessary to install the kit, the cost is well worth the quality and craftsmanship of the Power Enterprise turbo kit.
Included within the kit
PE1420 ball-bearing turbochargers (x2)
Custom turbo manifolds (x2)
Custom outlet pipes (x2)
Custom high-capacity fuel pump
Custom high-capacity aluminum oil pan
Power's high-capacity fuel injectors (x6)

Custom front-mount air-to-air intercooler
Inlet and compression pipe set

>>>*NOTE* Exhaust manifolds and Turbo Outlets are NOT included<<<
This was a stunning discovery of mine just tonight. Briefly looking at the contents when I received the kit, I saw all the piping and assumed they were there.
I can only assume the shop I bought the kit from in 2006 removed the manifolds and re-sold them. This company is defunct and it was a long time ago. I never noticed this.

Thanks for the interest.
Manifolds would have to be ordered from Power Enterprise in Japan...most likely through a vendor here in the USA. I think they run about $1800. Like most JDM aftermarket parts, they often ship by container ship, and could take several weeks to arrive.
I am not sure if any other manifolds would work, or if similar manifolds could be modified to fit.

Thread update-
A fellow member pointed out that I am missing the turbo outlets as well. I edited the original post to reflect this.
I also drastically reduced the price.

Sorry you never got to install this kit. Thr turbo outlets don't have to be bought if you get the 3.5" down pipes from APS, the manifolds on the other hand will need to be bought from Power Enterprise. Good luck with sale sir!

Sigh... you're missing the most important piece but I'm interested in turbos and some other parts if you're willing to separate. I'm not trying to be rude, but it really isn't a "kit" without the manifolds. It's just turbos, tubing and assorted parts...
GTM sells their manifolds separately and they could be modified to mount to these. In case the seller wants to try and make this complete or someone else is interested.

Fuel pressure regulator
Air Impulse air intakes (x2)
Custom front-mount air-to-air intercooler
Inlet and compression pipe set
Oil line set w/ gaskets
All 304 stainless steel constructionComes complete with all necessary hardware, fittings, etc.

This was a stunning discovery of mine just tonight. Briefly looking at the contents when I received the kit, I saw all the piping and assumed they were there.

Asking $3000 shipped.
I feel this is a fair asking price referencing these adds for USED turbo kits for sale by fellow enthusiasts here in the forums....remember this kit I am selling is new.
For reference:
Used GTM kit, $5k + shipping https://my350z.com/forum/turbos-nitr...turbo-kit.html
Used Greddy kit, $3800 shipped https://my350z.com/forum/turbos-nitr...d-haltech.html
Used APS TT kit, $6200 https://my350z.com/forum/turbos-nitr...turbo-kit.html
I won't be entertaining any low-ball offers, if your budget can't support the ballpark range of what I am asking, no worries
Just check out one of these more affordable options:

Thanks for the reply. ABL2Fly is awol. I have not heard anything from him yet. I am possibly going to let the kit go as-is to an interested party unless ABL2Fly replies soon.
