Default X/H pipes on TT builds

I know the intended/theoretical purpose, and do have an H on my TT G, but my TT Z has a straight thru true dual with no link between the two sides. Just curious how important it actually is...?

Seems like it's not too important other than sound on TT's? Scavenging/equalizing affect does not apply when turbos are upstream...

it wont do much, the whole point is to scavenge or "pull" exhaust from the heads as i imagine you already know. when they have turbos upstream though the turbo will block the suction pulse. doubly so since you undoubtedly have back pressure pre turbo so not like it needs sucking it wants to get out and it wont be a pulse anymore anyway.

Gotcha, that's what I gathered after doing some of my own research. I will say the VQ sounds an octave lower without a crossover... 4krpm sounds like 2krpm I am constantly forcing myself to upshift.

dont have many just the outlet, other then that just follows the driveshaft and turns where the stock gas tank comes out. definitely not something everyone can do i can because of using a fuel cell.
