Default New ProEFI CAN/logger & vehicle dynamics sensor coming soon

Just saw this teaser vid on Facebook and found the YouTube vid...

"Very cool stuff" indeed. This is going to raise the bar for the industry IMO.

Sometimes I kick myself for going with the Pro 48. Oh well, my next car will get a 128.

who cares how much if your front car lifts when you cant even display meaningful AFR data on that display....

Proefi is cool for race cars and cars built before 2000. I'd have a tough time recommending to anyone with a VQ.

New tech is always cool, however it is like 3-way adjustable dampers. Most owners are unable to dial in 1-ways most of the time.

What issues does the ProEFI with displaying AFR?

its displays AFR as a moving target of whatever stoich ethanol content you have.

Its will say 10:1 but you have no idea if 10:1 is rich or lean. 10:1 on straight pump gas is super rich but on E85 its lean.

So unless you have stoich values of every percentage of ethanol memorized and on top of that can divide your displayed AFR by that number in your instantly to get a meaningful lambda value, the AFR displayed by the Proefi displays are useless.

im actually very interested in this if i can get it to work with the infinity(or aem comes out with something similar) interface it then use it to enable some active aero since infinity has 4 stepper motor controllers.

A follow up video was just posted showing the new features on the color CAN/logger display. Sounds impressive. I like how you can easily enter alternative tire sizes for your switch from street to track setups etc.

alot of the gripes I made were fixed in this model. Its almost 1200$ retail though, about same as a racepac dash. def a step in the right direction.

i think since the end user can flash this model, there should be more development of display pages. fingers crossed

I'm with Str8dium1, I'd have a very hard time ever recommending the pro-efi to anyone who actually wants to use the features.

We have two FI cars and the second one we went with a Haltech PNP unit, and all I can say is damn, it does everything it is supposed, has vin input and communicates with the BCM.

The pro-efi DBW still is nowhere near decent, features don't work as advertised if you want to use the pro-efi throttle and pro-efi can.

I have the CAN Display, and what your not seeing is that if you want to use it on a Z with DBW, it loses connection every time you drive the car. The 48pin boxes seem to work as they are supposed to, but there are so many bugs with the 128 software and scripts. Not even going to get into when someone is asking for help from Pro-efi the company itself.
