Default Greddy TT. Catch can. cooling mist meth inj. (massive amount of pics)

hey dudes. I got around to taking more pics of my stuff I have for sale. This is pretty much the last of it. I put my car back to stock and am parting the aftermarket stuff out. There was no issue with anything that caused me to part it out. Everything was working just fine up until the day I pulled things off the car. Anyhow, I pulled my greddy tt kit off. First of all, I should mention this was on my g35. I am not sure what is needed for it to fit on a 350z, but I BELIEVE its very minimal changes. This kit has all the intercooler pipes and hoses and clamps that are needed. The intercooler was swapped for a bar and plate style intercooler instead of the tube and fin intercooler that the greddy tt kit comes with. I pressure tested this intercooler and there are no leaks despite some scraping on the bottom of the intercooler. There are zero cracks on any of the housings/manifolds. the downpipes come with the kit. they were from a vq35HR so I had to modify them to fit the vq35de. they come with a bung for wideband and a bung for a egt sensor. The upper intercooler pipe has a hole in it that I used for methanol injection. The kit comes with a Tial BOV (as seen in pics). There were two HKS bov's on the lower intercooler pipes that I had cut off and welded shut. The oil return lines are -3AN lines that I made myself. The return lines are -10AN lines that go into the AAM oil pan spacer that is also included in this kit. I ran this kit for roughly 30k miles. Not one issue with it. Just simply got sick of it. And, knock on wood, the motor did not blow up. This kit hasn't seen over 9 psi of boost. The bad news is when I took this kit off, I had to remove the cartridges from the exhaust housing. This caused an issue. When I had the cartridges off the exhaust housing, I tried spinning the turbo and noticed exhaust wheel was scraping on the heat shield of the cartridge. then I went to put the turbo back together and could not get it to clamp tight enough to clamp the heat shield together tight enough to get it back to how it was when I pulled it. Also, I was going to recommend these be rebuilt anyhow since there were so many miles put on the turbos. the passenger side turbo did have a little bit of oil in the intercooler pipes when I took it apart. But again, everything was running fine up until the day I pulled it apart. The issue with the heat shield scraping on the exhaust turbine is most likely just because of excess carbon build up between the exhaust housing and center cartridge, but it should be rebuilt by a professional shop. I do have a shop I have used before to rebuild turbos and he mentioned that he would be able to rebuild these for anywhere from 250-350 dollars each. So, I decided to take the hit on the sale price and sell them as is. Maybe one of you have a better/cheaper hook up on turbo rebuilds and can benefit from my loss. That's why I'm only asking 2800 for this entire kit.

also for sale is my catch can set up I used for many miles. Worked great at getting rid of my blow by issue. Asking 95 for this. (look into my post history on my350z for more pics of how I routed it.)

Selling my coolingmist meth/water injection kit as well. asking 110 for this. I tapped into my windshield washer res for my tank. then the pump was mounted up front. comes with plenty of hose, check valve, nozzle and relay and wires. I ran this off my Haltech. I do have a 2psi hobbs switch (not pictured) that will be coming with this kit. Thats what you can use to active the relay for the meth kit.

just to recap:
greddy tt - SOLD
catch can - sold
meth injection - sold

FWIW, I doubt those turbos need a rebuild unless they ate something (FOD). With proper oiling, MHI turbos are practically indestructible at low boost (<15psi). If they only have 30k on them, they've probably got another 170k in them. Their lifespans don't start getting shorter until 20+psi and larger impellers, and even then they're pretty reliable.

GLWS. I wish I could make my plans work with twins, or I'd grab this in a heartbeat.

word. mitsubishi turbos are super durable. theyre also super cheap to rebuilt. (only reason I know is because I used to be a die hard DSM guy). honestly the turbos have very minimal shaft play. only reason i suggested a rebuilt is because for one, I know how picky folks on my350z are about their turbos. and secondly, because i saw a tiny bit of oil in the IC pipes when I took it off. tho I never had an issue with them when they were on my car. also, when I took the turbos off, I removed the v band clamp that goes around the cartridge and exhaust housing to gain easier access to the manifold bolts and when I took it off, the exhaust shield that sits next to the exhaust wheel was loose and when trying to rotate the shafts, it would scrape on the exhaust shield of the cartridge. so the obvious next thing I tried was putting the cartridge back into the exhaust housing and clamping it back together to see if thats just how it is when the turbo is off. I clamped it tight and noticed the turbo spun better and like it did before taking it apart, but the exhaust shield wasnt totally tight like it was before and still noticed a bit of scraping. so I conclude that there must be carbon build up on the housing of the cartridge and exhaust housing which is making the clamp not clamp tight enough to factory spec. this is the only reason I recommend a rebuild by a professional. the good news is, all the parts are in tact. a rebuild is dirt cheap if you dont need to go replacing turbine or compressor wheels.

anyhow, still accepting offers. worst I can say is no.

oh crap. youre absolutely right. Im sorry. Honestly I thought your PM was some kind of spam or scam attempt. ...too many strange responses on craigslist have led me to stay away from the international buyer. anyhow, I believe shipping is going to be a nightmare. unless you can help me figure out an affordable way to ship it over there....?

No worries, it's probably the way I ramble on about nothing in particular.
Ya'll 'mericans are to used to domestic trading. I live in London now but originally from Ireland and you'd have nothing if you didn't go international.

Anyhow, how's about we start with getting a weight and approx size if everything was to be packed up? That'll be needed for shipping anywhere. Then it's just a case of pricing up on fed ex etc to see if it's viable and we'll take it from there.

I'd consider offering 3,500 if you had the turbos rebuilt and included all fuel components (injectors, pump).

this is a tuner kit. so, no injectors, pump, ecu. plus im just too over it at this point to have the turbos rebuilt. I'll take the loss. I do have someone on the line for this right now. if it falls through, i'll report back asap. thanks.
