Why is there a Fuel pump being added? Are you upping the boost?

ECU reflash - 495
Dyno tuning - 370
Not using the E-manage?

Grand total w/ tax = ~$11000
You might get a little off that, though that is what turbo stuff runs price wise. If they are in fact doing all stated, be prepaird to pay the price. I have heard of far far worse bills. Like $45 for diag time when car gets there to make sure it's up to spec (compression tests, system check, etc. ), $45 for drive after to make sure everything is ok. $xx.xx gas used durring cars stay. Somtimes people pay the price for a job well done.

Hope you enjoy the F/I world.

Gauge labor seems excessive but the kit install doesn't.

$380 divided by what $80 for hour of labor.
(average shop price at any reputable place)

That is 4.75 hours. If a shop takes it's time and looms all wires, solder all connections, and does a darn good job at making sure things won't get pinched, or rubbed raw. That is a very very good rate, and about average time. It's just another you get what you pay for expereince. Sure you could pay $100, but I can tell you what it will look like under the dash. (butt connectors, and a rats nest) If a shop was to charge less then that, they are losing money, and might make it up in other places on the bill.

Ravaz - the owner recommended that with all my mods and TT, that I should get my ecu reflashed. Is there a shop up this way that I should stay away from? PM me if there is, I don't want to start any negativity publicly.

SVT - I wasn't planning on upping the boost initially, nor was it mentioned. E-manage was not on the quote he gave me, I'll have to ask about that. I take it w/ E-manage, I won't need ECU reflash?

I'd say that you should plan on getting an oil temp gauge also. Anyway, the e-manage comes with the kit preprgrammed. If you're not planning on turning boost up, then no need for a better fuel pump and certainly no need to get a reflash of your ECU because the pre-programmed e-manage unit should work fine at the Greddy set psi level.

you got an excellent deal. to install the greddy TT kit in a 350z my labor would be a lot more. I am assuming they quoted you that install price not knowing how long it takes to do the kit, otherwise i would expect it to be much more. Thats probably what I would quote someone if I didnt know how long it takes from doing my own Z. But now that I know how long it takes to do it clean, man... you got a good deal.

Since the labor price on the kit is pretty low, I would also assume they never done one. I would also assume as they progress, the price will jump up on the kit labor cost. I just don't know if they will notifiy you or not on the increase.

I know for a fact that this shop has installed a few ATI's, but I'm not sure how many Greddy's they've done. I'll reconfirm if this is the final price or just an "estimate". But I chose this shop cuz they've worked on a few Z's.

AAM? Mike is a cool guy, did a few business transactions with him in the past. I'm pretty sure they miscalucalated on the kit install unless you guys have a very special deal.

I would most definitely recommend the fuel pump as well...even at the standard boost level.

Default My TT Kit Totals

Here are the totals on my kit:

Greddy TT Kit 5343
Greddy IC 1356

Greddy Profec B 335
Greddy Boost Gauge 150
Bracket 12
HKS Turbo Timer NC

Complete Install 28Hrs. 2800

I would say the price you got was in the right ball park.

That's a really good price if the price stays on the final bill. Estimate can always go up. I hope they have done one before to understand the procedure of a TT kit vs. SC.

Gauges:
egt - 260
boost - 250
labor - 380
Where are they tapping the probe of the EGT sensor to? These gauges only come with one sensor. And there's two manifold on the twin turbo. Which manifold are they tapping it to? Or is it just for show.

Plugs - 60
Fuel Pump - 350
Labor to install both - 345
Misc supplies - 170
Why are they making your purchasing the fuel pump? Are you planning to raise the boost. Because I didn't see a Boost controller on the invoice. The stock TT kit can be working fine with stock fuel pump. A few guys have proven it.

ECU reflash - 495
Dyno tuning - 370
The only place I know are reputable to do ECU reflash is Techno Square. They have experience.
As far as the tuning, as them What are they tunning it with? Because I didn't see any Greddy E01 or SAFC2 on your invoice.

Just trying to help here.

brgerflipr, I know your shop is Altered Atmosphere in Maryland. Just a warning. I have experience with them, and so do a few other members of this board. Let me first warn you that they are scum bags and they will not do you right. They will set a date with you to pick your car up, it won't be on time, I guarantee it. They are VERY unprofessional also. Here is breif run down of what they did to me. First, my car went in for an ATI Procharger installed, I drove over 300 miles to have them install it. My car was damaged on their dyno, the next day it blew. According to them all was good. I then worked out a deal for them to rebuild my motor, so I then gave them a second chance and took my car back to them to let them rebuild. That was in September. Long story short, In December, I had enough of their BS, promises etc.. and not doing anything with my car, I decided to pick it up and trailer it home in Dec. So as you can see they are douche and scum bags. Just want to give you a warning, don't want to see them f*ck anyone else over. I lost money and time with these as*holes. Good luck with whatever you chose, hopefully it won't be. And if AA is reading this, especially you MIKE, F*CK YOU. Peace.

Just thought I might chime in with my .02 on the Evolution install on the Greddy kit on a Z in the VA area. (member name J-Dawg)

The techs at Evolution did an amazing job on the install. They spent WELL over the number of estimated hours for install by Greddy, and just put in so much effort and care. I dropped by two or three times just to see how the progress was coming and to chill some. They just handled it so meticulously it was really awesome.

According to the Jeff, and the owner himself, the Z is running great, zero problems whatsoever. Just figured this info might be helpful also as you are only in MD, and Chantilly isn't too far I'd assume

Goodluck with everything though, cant wait to see another TT Z
