FI players in another field
No doubt I enjoy reading your FI tuning experience in VQ35DE very much.
I got a FX35 here, nice engine but shy power for a heavier SUV.
There're a few S/C players in Mercedes, said, C320, CLK320...
Unfortunately a natural rival named C32AMG sit there
when they start to play FI ........
They've to boost more till 0.7 bar(9~10 psi) then can hardly match the AMG IHI kompressor, which is running at 1.0 bar w/9.0 CR
Problems arises at so high boost for a 10.0 CR NA designed cars.
(1) Lean, insufficient fuel pump capacity => solved.
(2) Overheat => solved
(3) airmass out of range ? We checked all those MAF used in Mercedes V6/V8/V12 lineup, the sensor itself looks identical
but differs in hose diameter which hold the sensor.
(4) Knocking, seriously in high rpm zone, like your 350Z FI stories.
I'm reading your J&S solution........
(5) Auto gear box, it worn out quicker,mean miles to rebuild 40000
No idea about Nissan auto gear box yet.

I just didnt understand the way he was posing his question..I understood the issues that need to be addressed but what does

Yes I did report some of your foul mouth posts to the Moderators when you began your crusade against me yesterday with name calling etc. That is the system they have put inplace for us to use here, I used it. Obviusoly it had ZERO effect because you are still at it today. Sad...

Those benzos face very similiar issues at 10+ psi boost
Standard auto tranny & smaller final ratio save their ***
they're running lower rpm most of the time.
Just when they're happy at the boost of 10+ psi & FEEL reliable
(problem free)
higher & higher rpm they revs & enjoy killing E46/M3 (280+ rwhp)
Yes, 10 psi is the bottom line for C320 (290 rwhp) to kill M-power
Cold winter comes then, everyone think the higher O2 density in
freezing days help FI engines even powerful.
In other hand, they're running out of margin, too late to know
it though, detonation blow their engines in a sudden.
p.s
A/F, EXT gauges are equipped in their cars.
"ECU for boost application" read impressive !
