I built the engine of my 350z and the mechanich put anti friction on the walls of the cylinder an some anti friction in to the oil.... i started the engine yesterday an let it like 15 minutes at idle... today i was reading that i cant put anti friction into the oil because piston ring need to seat and dont know if this would be a problem now... im using 5w 30 castrol mineral oil... please need some advice of what to do know...
-if i can just put more miles on the break in period??
-i can drain that oil and put new oil??
im going crazy now with this situation...
A engine builder that honed my block said to me that not was a big problem... that leave it that way and put 1,500 mile of break in period...
im planning put the belt and tune the car with the vortech supercharger at 1,500 miles..
Sorry for my english... im not to good writing...

"anti friction"? i would find out what he actually used first i have never heard of a "anti friction" unless he was referring to anti wear additives like general motors EOS or similar. sounds to me like you really had a mechanic build the engine and not a engine builder which isnt a good move.
Yeah what you are describing sounds like a break-in lube, which is doing it's job in there. I usually like to drain the oil after the first drive around or two and put some fresh break-in oil in there just to get all those assembly lubes out and any other strange chemicals, but it won't hurt your engine or your break-in.

yah i did my first oil change at 50 miles, 90% of engine break in is done at around 20 miles on the engine. swapping oil early gets out not only the assembly stuff but also the particles from things like ring break in.
i would add some zddp stuff back in or use a diesel oil/heavy duty oil on the oil change though if you dont have emissions concerns and prob do another oil change at 250-500 and again at 1500 before moving to a regular oil change schedule.
