Default Vortech cog hitting wiring/connector/dipstick

Probably a stupid question, but is this normal? Just test fitted the vortech supercharger and bracket and everything was all good and lined up except for the cog hitting a wiring connector (not shown in the pic), the wire, intake piping sleeve is close and the dipstick is a hair away as well. Any help appreciated.

Its definitely not supposed to be that way - when properly installed, your cog pulley should clear the wiring/sensors/dipstick. Double check to make sure all of the bracket spacers are correctly installed. DO NOT drive your car if the cog pulley or belt are hitting any wiring. Secure the wiring so that its out of the way. A better long-term solution is to fully protect the wiring in the area:

Of course I would never drive it like that. Thank you for the link, I figured I would have to move wires out of the way permanently in that area with zip ties, wire loom etc. Hopefully when the cog belt finally gets tightened it will move away as well.
