I have an 2004 non uprev motor with the AAM oil pan spacer and turbonetics kit.
I need to replace both the oil feed and return lines. I received the return line when I purchased the spacer. The feed line obviously came with the kit. I asked summit racing how much the lines would be to replace them and they asked me.
What size feed line (-3 AN, -4 AN) and return line (-6 AN, -8 AN, -10 AN) do you have. How long of a line do you need?
I don't have a clue how to determine which size AN is needed. Does anyone know how to tell so that I don't give them the wrong size? Or can anyone tell me if they know what size the TN kit comes with for the feed line and what size the AAM return line that comes with spacer kit?

I don't have insight on that exact kit but a gravity feed should be at least 8an for proper draining and I would actually say 10an would be best. If you already have the fittings you can easily measure. 8an is roughly 1/2".
As for feed, if the feed line is short a 3 an with no restrictor should work. If it's longer a 4an with a restrictor would be needed. 4an line is roughly the size of a pen/pencil outside diameter. It is a 1/4" line. 3an is a 3/16" line. Hopefully that helps some. If all fails email turbonetics or do a google search for the pdf install manual.

OP, read up on AN fittings and get familiar with them but the jist is AN is the size of the line/fitting in 16th inch increments … What Jeff said AN3 is a 3/16th inch line, the AN4 is a 4/16th(1/4") line, etc.
I wouldnt go below a AN8 for your return line but it'll depend on your fitting coming off your turbo - you can't put a AN8 hose on an AN6 fitting. So whatever your fitting is coming off your turbo will dictate the size of line you'll need. As far as your feed line, bigger isnt always better - your turbo will have a small opening within the CHRA that will allow only a given amount of oil into the housing.
I think your best bet is to get in touch with turbonetics and use what they spec'd with the kit.

Thanks guys,
I contacted TN and they asked me what lines I used. I said to myself what? They supplied the feed line. I used a different return line that came with my spacer kit. I asked the company what the size of the line was that came with that kit and they acted clueless.
I am taking off the lines next weekend, I will measure them and figure out what I need.
