Don't Forget The Little Things
So I have been doing alot of research for my build when i get back. Just wondering from those that have done built engines with TT that are 600+whp either done themselves or had a shop do it what little things did they forget to add to their orginal goodie list that held up the process while waiting on that part to come in? Trying to get everything ironed out for my build to go as smooth as possible. so far ive gotten a good list of parts,shop/tuner lined up already. Looking for advice from the people that have done it already what i might be missing and/or need that i havent found from searching and all the build/FI threads.
What im looking at so far when i get back to drop off at my builder/tuner.

oil catch can
afr/boost/etc gauges
built short block from IPP
rev-up oil pump
GTM stage 3 TT tuner kit
Nissan engine gasket kit
ARP L19 head studs
ARP main studs
Cometic HR head gasket
oil spacer
stage 3 cjm frs

Haltech PNP ECU
clutch/flywheel

Also from what i can tell from the forums is the stock heads flow really well so correct me if im wrong but my plan is to keep stock head just do a stock size valve job and upgrade while the engine is out and apart and just get the pelum polished inside with the spacer should be enough air. or would a slight cam upgrade be needed aswell?
Again if im missing anything you found you needed during your build let me know. This isnt a dreamer thread just looking for advice on something i might have overlooked.

In about 6-7 months ill have my build thread going up to prove you wrong. Can't do much from Afghanistan atm thats why i made this thread so i can order some of the things i overlooked to be waiting for me when i get back.

You could probably go for Z1 engine mounts rather than solid. Then get their urethane transmission mount. If you haven't done so, install the Whiteline differential bushings. Maybe include the sub-frame bushings as well while you're at it.

as for wheels i have 18x9.5 18x10.5 ill wait on tires till i get back. guess i should also add i have an exhaust already too.

anyone able to prove if stock heads,cams,etc could handle 600 hp or would i have to go with built heads? cant find anything on it maybe im not using the right words in the search bar or a link to a thread about it would work.
You don't need a maf since haltech will be map based tune. 240$ saved there.
To anyone that says swap to ls1 you obviously haven't done it or read the amount of work and money involved in getting one to run great and use stock parts. It is far more expensive than a cheap junkyard ls engine tossed into an engine bay. Even the kits that claim to have everything are very hard to assemble. Almost all of the complete and nice functioning ls swaps are done by guys with either tons of money at a shop or have a shop themselves. SO STOP RECOMMENDING ******** ON YOUR "THOUGHTS" of how easy it is to swap an LS in the car. I think there is a huge thread on it.
On top of that, if you do'nt have a high hp built engine car, stop saying they blow up all the time. You have no experience so keep your civic cake hole shut until you do it. Many of us have built engines and running great. I have far more friends with engines that explode from fords, dsm, chev, etc. ANY car will start to have issues when you push it.

I would go with a 2000cc injector size to give yourself plenty of fuel. I had a good expeience with IPP and I think most people do but every now and again someone isnt happy with their stuff, FYI.
