Exclamation Supercharger Dyno Numbers

Lets keep the information for the sticky and other places. But it seems that now we have plenty of SC that have hit the 550-600 mark. So since Vortech and Rotrex seem to be increasingly popular, I figured we can have our own list. I wil do my best to keep the master list updated.

I drive G35 and spend most of my time there, so if there is ever a delay through PM here, hit G ZILLA up on g35driver, thats where I am most of the time.
http://g35driver.com/forums/engine-d...ml#post6858435

Sort and sweet

COPY AND PASTE:
1. Type of Supercharger
2. Type of Motor (DE, HR, Rev, 3.7) Built Block YES or NO
3. Type of fuel used (lots of 100 octane out there)
4. Major Mods Like Meth
5. Type of Dyno and Numbers

1. Vortech T Trim blower
2. Built 8.8.1 RevUp...3.6ish liters, stock heads and cams.
3. 93
4. Methanol Injection
5. Dyno Dynamics Dyno, Hills Garage 557.7rwhp 455rwtq

Took like 3 months to chase down faulty injector clips, 4 sets, includes shipping back and forth from dealer.
Took about 4 months (off and on) to figure out belt walking, watched it on the dyno and almost got smacked in the face with a belt. LOL but not lol
Took 9 months for paint after a 5 car pile up. Ivory Pearl to Lexus ISF Blue
took 2 months for built block, right after paint....horrible story....shop who painted got water in the NEW OEM BLOCK...less than 100 miles on that OEM engine at time of accident.
Took 3 weeks to troubleshoot oil, seal, bypass issue, spitting on my MAF
Took 2 weeks to find slightly kinked supply fuel line

Keep in mind that Hills is a very small shop, cars goes to them after I have exhausted all my efforts, so figure about 3rd of the time above actually having the car worked on or touched.

Boosted for over 100K miles. 25K on built block, no issues on motor with the OEM blocks installed (I swapped out a brand new OEM block for max power R&D while I had the other one built)

I have been pretty impressed by the latest out of the superchargers. Makes me wish I would have followed through with it...

I Think a number 6 needs to be added with the number of miles since SC.

i think mileage is irrelevant to the power. which is what we are tracking. HOWEVER i do think that Impeller speeds should be a staple in this.

I'm going for the bottom of the list.

6. Stock Impeller speed- whatever that is
Side note. 91k miles no issues with the blower.
