Another tropicana twister, that's right, not BP fault that he sells a discount kit with parts that are supposed to be GREAT, but in fact are crap, and that the setup is flawed to say the least.
You want 400whp and are on a budget? roll the dice and buy this walmart brand kit. You want to protect your investment and livelihood in your ride, look elsewhere and find more quality. From my experience this kit is for the birds. If your outcome differs then I am more than happy you got lucky.
Also note, BP has no right to post false dyno charts with users full names in an open forum without that persons expressed consent, yet this forum is allowing it...hmmm... do not believe the hype, if you want the real info then just send me a PM.
If a kit makes 600+hp then craps the bed due to the crap parts in the kit, that dyno is false and misleading. Yet BP thinks he can use this graph to prove his value.. Hogwash. THIS IS A WARNING TO YOU SASHA, REMOVE THAT GRAPH, IT IS NOT YOURS TO POST AND IS FALSE AND MISLEADING.
THAT GRAPH IS MINE AND ANYONE READING THIS NEEDS TO KNOW THAT WITH THIS KIT AND THE PARTS IN IT, AFTER THAT GRAPH THE TURBO FAILED AND DUE TO THE SETUP AND CONFIG OF THE KIT HAD OTHER CATASTROPHIC REPERCUSSIONS. AVOID THE BP KIT AT ALL COSTS.

The dyno graph it is property of R/T Tuning, as it says on the graph itself, since it was done on their dyno, by thier tuner. Don't think anybody knows it is from your car, which is irrelevant.
The more you talk, the more you make the kit look better. Thank you, just keep going, I find this very entertaining to be honest. I am sure that those who read your nonsense will quickly realize what I had to deal with when your turbo (not the kit) failed.
This really is a customer from hell. There is no other way to put it. I have replaced a few things for him under warranty no questions asked, like the Tial diaphragm that he damaged during the install. The turbo was repaired under warranty by precision with 4 day turnaround with overnigh shipping both ways because I pulled some strings there (usual turnaround is 3 weeks). That was not good enough because customer wanted a brand new turbo with overnight shipping.
I took the scavenge pump apart and found this in it:

You can see where it was stuck and the slight indentation on the brass gear. Once the piece was removed the pump worked like new. I also sanded that small area down smooth just in case. Customer however was angry, and said that I planted the metal in there. He demanded that I overnight a brand new pump to him...there was no point since this pump was in perfect working condition. I also checked the pump electrically since this customer claimed that it blew a couple of fuses. The pump checked out fine, drawing only 5.4A of electric current while pumping oil full blast. The fuse was 20A, so it was not possible to blow the fuse.
He also called my scavenge pump supplier after I had two filters for the pump sent over to him (for free of course). He yelled at him, telling him that the pumps are garbage, calling him names...same type of language that he had sent me through email over 200 times.
It just never seemed to end, no matter what I did it wasn't good enough and I hope the ban lasts for a long time.

You have BP so far down your throat that it is almost comedy, like I said and I will say it again you miami monkey, the setup and config of this kit is crap, the turbo is crap, and the fitment is also ,......wait for it....crap. if I can help even one other person not waste their money on this joker then I am more than happy to do so. That is my experience with his crap kit, bought and paid for , you may have gotten lucky or push powder instead of power, good for you.
If your experience is different, great, I am happy for you, be sure to polish your neon runner lights on your way into the club. ( meanwhile as you choke on BP shaft).

From my own experience as well as others I've helped with, all Turbo Kits need some sort of tweaking from car to car to get it to fit just right. Some kits need way more massaging than others and the BP kit for a Turbo Kits is one of the few I have seen to need the least amount of tweaking.
My "fitment" experience was as follows: (Note that the original BP Kit was developed using a 350z. Technically, it should have been harder for my install.)
My car... 2006 G35 MT
The install manual is very well written with pictures and everything so you can't really mess up. There were only a few slight tweaks required to make it fit flawlessly and here they are:
1. The piping that goes from intercooler to plenum. We had to make a hole since the G35 doesn't have the hole that the 350z has up front. This was explained to me before buying the kit by Sasha and is also illustrated in the install manual for the G35. This was a known modification required to install said kit.
2. One of the pipes that crosses over the transmission had to be slightly hammered in a bit to create a slightly better clearance down there since the car would occasionally rattle a bit on certain RPMs. I believe Sasha has remedied this already on the newer versions. Once again a minor tweak expected when modding a car.
3. There was a bolt from the steering column that would occasionally slightly rub one of the pipes when turning hard left. After looking under the car... that damn screw is way too long from factory so we simply took it out... cut it down a bit and reinstalled it. Took less than 5min.
The rest of the install is really straight forward and very well explained and illustrated in the install manual that Sasha sends with his kit.
About the supposedly "Air Filter Placement"
Since it's under the car tucked above the bottom cover... the only problem would be a pretty big and deep puddle. I've driven in a downpour before for a few hours heading to GA with no issues, just avoid big puddles... LOL. My filter hasn't even needed to be cleaned yet after over a whole year now. I bet heat isn't an issue down there since on other kits... the engine bay is hotter than hell in comparison.
Now lets address this whole mystery about the "Oil Scavenge Pump"
With all force induction setups there are Pros and Cons to them and you have to weigh them out and decide which works best for you. Any Mid or Rear mount turbo setup will require this... a known fact. Knowing this I, like some others here who've also bought and installed this kit, decided that the Pros, of BP's Turbo Kit outweighed the Cons of this one small issue of a Scavenge Pump. I ended up buying a pressure sensor and added it to my monitoring setup to make sure the turbo was always receiving oil. I always stress how one must always buy supporting mods to monitor and protect your investment.
Now to explain the Pros of this kit I will have to compare them to pretty much every other Single turbo kit out there that has the turbo in the engine bay. This includes but not limited to the following (Momentum, Power Lab, APS, Turbonetics, S&R, SOHO... ect)
BP Kit Pro's
1. Even though it's Mid Mount... surprisingly enough... it has less aggressive bends and equal or less piping length than most of the regular Top Mount Kits. One of the many reasons why this kits creates power so easily.
2. All the hot piping is literally under the car and away from engine bay hens absolutely no heat soak and therefore a cooler running car. The Hot pipes also cool down much quicker than other setups since all the air flowing under the car pulls heat back and away from the engine.
3. Since the Turbo is under the car and the exhaust exit is facing straight back... you can't get a more efficient exhaust than that. Talk about a straight shot. Anyone who knows anything about Force Induction will tell you how important exhaust efficiency is to power. Since the Turbo is under the vehicle and not in the engine bay... yet another heat source pulled away. Once again... cooler running vehicle. Less heat at the engine bay equals less of a chance for heat soak which equates to easier and more efficient power. This also adds longevity to you vehicle and turbo kit.
4. Ease of Upgrading the Turbo... Swamping to a much larger Turbo in the future is as simple as buying a bigger one and simply swamping it out. Try this with any other Single Turbo kit without some serious modifications to the piping or Turbo position. This adds to future upgrading when one feels that they need more power without having to put a huge dent on you wallet or even having to buy a new setup.
Now lets talk about the BP Kit Con's...
1. Can't show off your Turbo Kit in a car meet like all the other kits.
2. Have to avoid Big Puddles.
3. Oil Scavenge Pump (Yeah it's required with any Turbo that sits low but to me not really much of a Con but may be for others so I've included it)
That's it for the Cons from my experience with this Turbo Kit.
In my case, the Pros extremely outweighed the Cons hens why I waited for the right moment through the BP Kit development and then pulled the trigger. I would do it again in a heartbeat. As I've said before... one of the Best purchase experience I've had with anyone I've done business with online. Sasha's customer service is second to none and he goes well beyond what's expected from any business I've dealt with so far.
Even in gixx76's ranting... it's obvious how awesome Sasha's customer service is.

HOLY CRAP! This dude is insane! I bought a BP kit a couple years ago and it was a GREAT kit! The best part was CUSTOMER SERVICE! That is so hard to come by these days! NOONE and I mean no one listen to the bullcrap being said about sasha or his work! My engine blew up in 4 days! and guess what SASHA was going to try and help me out, even though it wasn't his fault that it ended up being a faulty fuel pump and my factory bottom end let go! Guess what I didn't call Sasha or Hal at dynosty complaining tho! You have to live with issues happening especially in the F/I world.... Sasha I wouldn't listen to a work this dude has to say! You have helped way to many people out! I mean thread after thread over the BP kit says how great the customer service is. That right there speaks for itself. Continue to make people proud sasha!

Not at all Calvin. I should have a good amount of work done on your kit this weekend. The high flow cats came in too...I ordered the 3.0" in/out ones instead of the 2.5", so you will end up with an even better flowing system.
That was my mistake, but you get a free upgrade.
EDIT: These were supposed to be dual 3"...my mistake. For some reason I thought you wanted dual 2.5" cats, and I had ordered the two 3"...sorry.

Yeah, that is what you get sometimes. I helped this guy a lot too...like I said, over 250 emails....and what does he do? Then he goes over to the 370z forum opens up an account and starts the same thing. This world is full of special people like him, you just have to deal with it.

I would love to, but it is a bit of a drive for you...If your are looking at getting that done though, I would talk to the guys at Dynosty. They have a fabricator on hand now, and can customize anything you want.
