Turbonetics ST kit tuning question
So first off, I would like to start out this post by saying that I am no stranger to using the search button (hence my virtually non existent post count), so before anybody starts freaking out about me asking a question, please read this whole post in its entirety.
I am getting an unused Turbonetics kit from a buddy, with many upgrades to the kit itself, and a lot of extra parts along with it. One of the extras he is throwing in is a Greddy Emanage Blue, from a Greddy TT kit that he recently purchased. My question is: how safe would it be to use the Emanage Blue (containing the Greddy TT flash) with the Turbonetics ST kit? Believe me I have read what I would say is every single thread having to due with this exact scenario, but I can't find a solid yes or no, on why or why not I should use it. I know there are a lot of factors involved in this, so I would just like a decent explanation of why I should, or should not use it; because I have seen people on here say they used it and it worked fine, but for others it wasn't the same story lol. Honestly due to where I live currently, a piggyback such as Emanage Blue or the TS re flash from Turbonetics would make all of this so much easier. Obviously getting a tune from a reputable tuner would be the best thing. But my question once again, is can I use the Emanage Blue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section or whatever, as this is my first post and I'm not sure if I did it correctly
feel free to move it if need be...

Hell no! Read through the uprev tuning 101 guide and you'll learn why. Basically, the tune will be so far out of whack down low that it'll run like ****. Plus it's probably dialed in for different injector size, way different map for fueling and maf. In other words...... It'll either run stupid rich, or kaboom
How could a fuel map developed for a Greddy TT kit provide correct fueling for a Turbonetics kit? The answer is it won't. A fuel map is very specific for an application. The hardware would work with a map built for what you have.
Not going to work. Now, if you had the exact same fuel system (injectors, pump, ect) that the greddy flash was made for, it might get you to a tuner at part throttle without stalling out or blowing up... but yea, hopefully you understand you're going to need a real tuning session before you even think about getting into boost.

Alright, thanks guys. I appreciate the input. These are the answers I figured I would get, but was not hoping for. I guess this means I get to deal with German tuners now...
