Well i just got back from the shop a few hours ago. I was told that the block I dropped off was no good and was told that the new one would be done yesterday. When I arrived I was told that the motor is still at the machine shop and that they are swamped. I was told next week. Unbelievable. The shop is in Tampa and I'm sure you guys know who it is. I don't really care anymore. This has been a nightmare. I am only getting a long block assembled, and that is it. I dropped it off in October of last year and was told that 3 engines were ahead of me but they would work on it asap. This is really terrible service. If you look at their facebook page they are super busy and showing off all of their builds for all kinds of cars. Maybe since I am not dropping 15k for a build they don't really care. I had high hopes for that shop but this has left me with no motivation. So far I have spent about 10K on parts for the the Z and it's just sitting in my garage leaking oil.. No way a simple long block assemby should take 3 months.

Looks like my engine is finally comlete. Hopefully I wil be up and running in two weeks. I get to go see it tomorrow.
