whoa!

that's crazy! do they just slip right into the stock gauge pod holes?

the stock console is one piece correct? the multi-function and battery and oil pressure are all one component, right?

cool install!

Removing the dash part was pretty easy.
I used the write up

Here

The gauges I just pushed in and screwed from behind as far as I could get them. There is a small gap, because of the Defi bezel ring, but not noticable.
Nothing is needed to keep them in place, because it is that tight.

All the stock gauges are connected as one piece. There is actually 2 circut boards. I wanted to JUST install the multi-function gauge, lcd screen on the dash by itself, but having the other parts of the circut board connected means I needed a bigger space to mount it, so I haven't come up with any place yet..

and the e-01....
Man, lucked out. The screen and control fit PERFECT in the Nav space. Just wedged in there, and they do not move, unless you put some goood force on one side, to get it to start working out.
So both parts of that install went pretty smooth.

The circut board on the right, is the one with the mulit-function lcd screen that I want to mount, The board is 5 3/4" long by 2 1/2 thick
Haven't found a good spot where I could put that yet, with that amount of space

Nice! I definitely like those gauges you have there. The start-up/shutdown sequence is sweet. And they're totally black!? Bad@$$.

IMO, I personally would not mount them as a replacement to the stock gauges. I prefer the A pillar mount myself.

Just want to give alittle update on this, as I have been getting pm's on the subject

with the help from derek_i, we were able to take the stock gauges apart from the circut board.
Here are some pictures

Here is the little LCD screen

I still haven't found a location I like to relocate the LCD sceen, but I am thinking of the bottom of the RPM gauge, notching out a square in the gauge there, if there is room...
