You can use the NISMO cams with FI. There is nothing saying that they are too big. The duration is fine, the lift is of course fine, and there are no overlap numbers out that I have seen. They do not have a wild idle or anything and I don't see the problem. The JWT cams are ok with FI per JWT and other experts on the product. The NISMOs are more mild than the JWTs except for duration which is hardly more aggressive. Good luck with your list!

Ok, Cams back on the list.

Ok now, if I want to have a fully programmable ECU, what would you recommend? I saw this MoTeC but its too expensive, any other option do I have?

Thanks,
Az

How much do those rods and pistons go for?

Also what's the best deal you've all found on the Nismo exhaust?

SGP Racing's rods are "Pauter" they sell them for $1,175, I-M-Racing has the same rods for $1,039

SGP Racing's pistons are 8.5:1 Boosted Forged Pistons they run $1,175...you can pick up XTP Pistons which are 8.5:1 Boosted Forged Rods for $775

You can pick up the Nismo exhaust for $900 through Performance Nissan

you may want to think twice about ordering from i-m racing. i know that thier prices are hard to beat, but i have been getting reactions from all competitors alike saying that thier customer service is jacked. Everyone seems to agree on this subject no matter who i speak to...from dealerships to specialty part stores. Everyone keeps telling me that if i spend a dime over there, that it may be the last time i see it. They say dont spend money over there unless you can afford to lose it. Just a thought.

Crower rods and 46CC heads are more for Naturally Aspriated engines. Crower rods are lighter, pauter are stronger and more geared towards forced induction...

Hey guys. I deal with SGP Racing all the time. They have excellent knowlegable people, great service and if you ask them, they'll price match most of these jokers that don't deliver.

They have such a good reputation that they get cars shipped from overseas for upgrades/tuning. They're almost done with a GReddy TT 350Z that they're working on for a guy in the middle east. The entire engine has been redone from the ground up. This beast will be putting out over 600 horses. I'll keep you updated.

I may be wrong, but I don't think the Nismo clutch is going to last long with around 400 rwtq. Might want to check on that before you purchase and leave yourself room to increase the power later without having to get a better clutch 12-24 months down the road.

Is the 350Z TT at their shop? If it is, I think it's worth it just to swing by and check it out..

SGP has been doing Nissan cars for a while, so they are pretty reputable...
