08 350z hr or ls2 swap
Hi I want to start nodding my 350z I have the hr but I want power so I was thinking of ls2 swap I was going to trade my bike for the tranny and engine and buy the kit from sikky. But I was thinking of twin turbo I don't really know much about upgrade I can really use help thanks
What is your budget? Because it's not even close to as simple as just picking up the engine/tranny and Sikky kit. I'm sure others who have actually done it will chime in, but I think you're heavily over-simplifying it.
Yh ik like I said I really don't know much I just want a car to have fun that sticks u to the seats till u let go of the gas or get sideways when I want budget don't really got one yet I want to know what I'm looking at first then save

Why not just build your HR with a built block and then fit a supercharger or turbo kit instead of the jigsaw of parts that you're going to need to fit an LS? As I understand it the LS is not just a case of dropping the block in the engine bay and away you go. You've got wiring looms to bastardize, ECU's to mess about with. Its not as if you're swapping Nissan for Nissan. As DKMura says, just buy a V8 that was built that way.

it's not worth it man.
Sell the Z and the Bike get a c7 vette, it will do exactly what you are asking for in the power department... stock... with a warranty.... reliably.
+3, Either leave the car stock, sell the bike get a cheap LS camaro and gut that. Or sell both and get a newer C6/C7 and enjoy the power.

I had the same debate a few years ago. Decided to build, stroke, and boost the HR. Very happy with it and haven't had any issues. More power than the car can handle.

win win
