Hmmm...so since the new impeller is billet vs the original cast, does that mean the impeller will be lighter and hence easier to turn (ie less belt slip)?

same aero technology as all the new turbos. Just means it can be cut at more aggressive angles to make them more efficient.

doubt it will result in less belt slip. Def not a reason to swap to the new design.

IMO the only way to do it right is with a,

1. 10 Rib Serp or 36mm wide Cog on the Drive Belt.

2. Revise the Jackshaft Assy to utilize a wider Cog Belt 36mm wide min.

3. Radius Rod Kit

This is all doable, just a matter of working out the Design.

Weight of the impeller is negligible when talking the load on the engine/belt slip.
