Who is the best tuner for VQ35DEs in the San Diego or Phoenix area? I'm debating on a Vortech v1 or ITBs on my already built 11:1 wiseco, eagle rod, arp studs, acl bearings, JWT c8 cams build.

I'm leaning towards the supercharger over NA ITBs at the moment because I live in a desert filled with sandstorms... so am thinking ITBs sucking hot sandy air (even with filters on the trumpet) might be bad long-term. Also it gets up to 120 degrees so... hot air won't produce good power NA I imagine. With a supercharger I can just upgrade the cooling system, oil cooler, and inter cooler to compensate.

I'm also considering v1 due to the fact that the gears are straight cut, and will add to the already loud-race car sound of my exhaust. Any cons with the v1 reliability wise? I'm okay with obnoxious levels of volume.

 

phoenix metro area is giant btw lol.. but Tony at UMS is the current best bet, he did mine.

I disagree, but not on the basis of Tony's skills, but simply because there are at least a couple of other really good tuners to say Tony is the best.... id HIGHLY recommend Full Race - Black Market Racing (Chris)... sad racing also another very solid option. And ums is also a good option.

Personally id say go turbo(s) over supercharger in a heartbeat...

I vote Jason @ ProEFI, only an option if you’re running ProEFI though… heard good things about Black Market Racing too.
