Default Ebay sc fail/win

Yea yea so I bought a Stillen sc "kit" on ebay. I'm aware of the shortcomings with this sc but for the price of $2400 it became worth it to me.

Kit is incomplete. Missing upper drive assembly, crank pulley and lower tensioner. I gambled and lost. Shame on me.

I have been trying to get a quote from stillen for the missing parts. I'm almost positive this sc will no longer be worth it to me $ wise when they get back to me with it. Any thoughts? Flame suit on.

was it advertised as "new in box / complete" or was it a used kit?

Depending on how patient you are just keep your eye out for incomplete kit and do your best to piece it all together. I would use ebay and some of those craigslist search engines to see if you cant scope the missing parts.

I don't know the kit that well but maybe this guy has something you need -

I think I saw this advertise as use and was only the supercharger itself.

Thanks guys. It was advertised as "Stillen supercharger kit system" He said he would take it back but I was hoping I could make it all work out.

Nope. I have the intercooler, black box (injector driver), upper tensioner, injector, coolant pump/reservoir, fuel line etc. I could make it work if I had that upper drive assembly.

Thanks, I actually sent this guy an email earlier. Kind of looks like the drive assembly in his pic. His description isn't to clear.

Update: After waiting for a week, Stillen (I hate them) finally got back to me with some pricing. They want $2,000 for the couple parts I need to complete the kit lol.

That would put me at 4400 for this used stage 2 and I would still need hood plus another $850 to go stage 4. Brand new vortech much.

From what I have read it should be around 330-350whp. A joke compared to vortech peak hp but still almost 100hp gain above stock....

Great way to snap a rod, especially if you don't know what you're doing. Even with a built engine.
