Default my revup 350z vortech

hello great my350z members.
i'm reading in this forum for almost a year and this is my second thread here. sorry i'm lazy .

i have 350z convertible 2006 manual revup. i installed on it:
vortech v2 kit
fuel pump 340 lph deatchwerk
injectors 440cc deatchwerk
aem methanol kit
f con v pro standalone
cog for s/c 28
cog for jackshaft 34

i did all these things by myself ,, even the tuning. this is my 4th car do it myself. anyway..

the issue with this z .. the vortech belt slip and i read here on this forum it's common thing. as what i search in this forum i need to change it bando or gates belt. the vortech revup kit has 3.12 pulley .. and this pulley very close to L key bolt in the supercharge. and i can't open the belt without taking the unit out..
is there anyone changed the belt without taking the s/c out?

also i want to change the pulley to 2.87 and make my rev limiter to 6000rpm.. its convertible car i don't want top rpm, its not racing car. its fun car. so the blower speed will be 52k+ rpm which is the max speed.
i called vortech today and they said anything less than 3.12 need to be machined to fit.
is there anyone has 2.87 pulley want to sell it?
is there anyone changed the belt without taking the s/c out?
any advice to stop this belt slipping...!!! i tight it three times and i get only 8.5 psi then its drop to 6 psi after couple days.

again i feel lazy because i worked a lot in this car. but its fun and pain .

Leave your stock rev Limiter!

You do not need to remove the SC to change the Belt!

You need a "TimRod's Radius Rod Strut Kit" to stop belt slip.

Read about it here https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...fener-kit.html

Thanks boss i really appreciate it..
i can't believe the bracket flex.. i wish if i gone turbo...

please if there a guide to change the belt without taking out the unit.
its revup kit.. the L key bolt very close to pulley. i will take photo and post it here.

i feel down and don't want to work on it, because after all this work car making 6 psi on pulleys that should make 10 to 11..
so braket flex and cheap slipping belt with kit,, vortech should make something perfect .
i bought the bracket brand new 680$ for revup then it flex. wow amazing ..

I have a revup and had the belt slipping a lot when I went to the 2.87 pulley. I made my own support rod just like the "Timrod" and then I was able to get 10lb boost with no belt slipping. I didn't think the bracket could flex that much but when trying to run more boost and running smaller pulleys something has to give.

I installed my s/c kit and after taking in and out cause of doing motor upgrades pulling the s/c isn't to bad but the only way to replace the belt do to the belt being so close to the s/c is to pull it.

I also made some guards to protect sensor/wires from belt after having belt to come apart damaging sensor costing me $200.00 to replace.

thanks a lot eddie.. even when you changed the pulley to 2.87 also you can't change the belt without taking the supercharge out?

I have a 2.87 pulley that I've already machined if your interested. Was gonna use it but don't have anyone (that I know of) around here that has a dyno or can tune. Plus i got the full vortech kit, so I need replace a few parts first before I go to a smaller pulley.

why people says all VQ35DE not holding more than 420 whp? you made 500+ on stock..
is it all tuning matter?

NO, I have the Older SC-Trim Blower. A V2 Ti-Trim on a well built motor will make very close to 700whp, this is if it is set-Up Properly and I Tune It!

I've done many things to My Vortech Setup to make 540whp/436wtq.

Like a Huge Intercooler, this is a Must for Over 700 CFM. (for every 5.5*F hotter your AIT's are, you loose about 1% Crank Horse Power)

Like a "TimRod's Radius Rod Strut Kit" a Must for Over 12 PSI

Like, Tuning, Tuning, and More Tuning........

People say a lot of BS !!!!!!!!!

When I say "Stock Block", "Stock Heads and Cams" I mean Stock. My Motor has not been touched. I've only had the Intake off to Install a New Fuel System.

Regaurdless of what people say here, I've done a lot of Modifications to my 350Z to make it run like it does, But the Motor is "Stock"......

The Clutch is not part of the Motor, it's part of the Drivetrain.
