maybe you can shed some light here for me then cause my tuner is saying there is no way possible you are pulling these numbers on stock internals and pump gas. I am following in your footsteps trying to push this motor before changing internals. I just got the treadstone intercooler and will installing that along with 2.87 pulley and aeromot. fuel pump instead of my walboro. I feel like my tuner is trying to avoid doing this because he maybe Inexperienced ... not saying he is and he hasn't said that... just a vibe.

Based on his time slips I'm confident in his claimed HP numbers. Truthfully I don't think anyone has pushed the stock block as far as tim and had it hold up long... so don't be surprised if tuners shy away from pushing someone else's stock motor that hard -- Tim does his own tuning so it's all on him if something goes wrong.

100% don't doubt the OLDMAN which is why I have followed his steps in getting more power out of the car. just picked up a Timrod and we will see what happens. currently at 402/346. would like to get into mid or upper 4's and under 4 on the tq side.

Never said I made those numbers on Pump Gas!

It's a 50/50 mix of C16 and 93 pump that made 540whp/436wtq

On 93 Pump Gas I made 513whp/408wtq

even so those numbers on pump gas are awesome...why my tuner is tripping about trying to go over 400 must just be his own disbelief

That's something I've been looking into.
This is another photo with out the "Timrod" The guard on the left has a gusset behind it to keep it from flexing, the right one is bent tight to stay close to wiring where it comes out of the plastic. I made template first using a empty beer carton then transferred it to metal. Its not to say if the belt brakes again its not going to tare something up? I just feel better knowing a guard might help? I will see about getting some photos of these out of the car and put it in another sight.

He is just trying to protect him self.

Like I said, you tune the motor properly and the HP is what it is.

Have your tuner look at this thread if he doesn't believe. https://my350z.com/forum/drag/590422...127-42mph.html

Also, about my car. Everyone should keep in mind that I have a

V2 SC-Trim rated @ 1000 CFM.

The SCi-Trim is 1050 CFM

The Si-Trim is 1150 CFM

The T-Trim is 1200 CFM

And the New Ti-Trim is 1400CFM

Also, I'm trying to break the Stock, untouched Motor (internal Parts) and Full Weight Car, 1/4 Drag Record of 11.238, mine 11.245. Missed it my .007 of a second. That was One350zfan with a Turbonetics Turbo and Nitrous. I will do that, but what I really want is be the First in the 10's and do it without Nitrous. As far as I can tell from my research no one in the World has done this.

I certainly have the MPH Record @ 127.42

Here is a Thread I started about this: https://my350z.com/forum/drag/585084...ms-record.html

Thanks you can do a lot with a little know how, a shop with tools and this forum to get some great ideas what to do with these cars. I made some heat shield to go over my Tomei headers I didn't have the heart to wrap them. I would send some pics of them but you can't see them in the car. They are working well open in front and back for air flow and keeps the heat down in the engine bay.

Did you coat your pulley with carbonite? It sort of looks like it in the pic.

I removed the black coating in the groves trying to help from the belt slipping with not much luck. When trying to get car tuned at Z1 we could only get 6 to 8 lbs. boost, It wasn't until I installed my support rod like the "Timrod" that the belt slipping went away now I'm running 9 to 10 with no belt slipping with 457HP at the wheels. I'm very pleased how well S/C doing now.

34/28 Cog with the 2.87 and 7100 rev limiter (62,355 Blower RPM)

Plugs are @ .030-032

Their is no upgrade for the oil feed that I know of.

PM me your email address and I'll send you an Invoice thru PayPal. Just say in the PM "I want to buy a Radius Rod Kit for 350z RevUp" with email. It will ship within 3 days after I receive Payment.

Thanks

I know the mustang and lightning guys swear by it. I would like to get done and try it but don't know where to send it. I wonder if it would eat the belt up though?

Jon at Z1 Is a bad *** tuner ah? He tuned my car as well. I'm on a Boosted Performance kit but as Oldman says... It's all about the tune.
