Leave some fuggin slack on the feed line to the rails.
Even with solid motor mounts there can still be flex and when you go to disconnect the rails you dont want the fittings to be in tension.
Simple concept right? One that a shop that cranks out race cars would know right?
Nope. My lines are .5" short from going back on the rails (rails mounted into lower intake manifold). Should have been about 2" for some flex.
Thanks CIN! Appreciate it.

my car will never breach the doors of cin again. too bad I wasted time and money while I was too busy to diy...lesson learned I suppose.
The line is short plain and simple. When you cannot remove and reinstall the fitting because it is too short then you have an issue. any flex between engine and line and something is going to snap.

sucks to hear man.
wouldn't mind my FPR being somewhere other than smack in the middle of the firewall transmitting fuel system sounds into the cabin. At least with an un-damped fuel system, it sounds like a diesel inside the car compared to any other mounting spot.

Yup. Must have tied into the rails and then ran the line to the rear bucket and pulled it good and tight.
Also didnt install it like i wanted. I wanted to Y into the rails and Y out so that they were parallel rather then series but i got the ole " we build racecars, this is how we do it on them" line.
Nothing like having a very large feed line that just reduces into the rail..what a waste.
