So there are NO TURBO KITS for VQ35HR?!?
Damn...that sucks.
I think guys just trying to point out that we have not seen a lot of success on sleeving the VQs. I've been lurking for a long time and don't remember many build where sleeves were necessary. I see in your position they make more sense.
Good luck man. Sounds like you are due some

Thanks man, but coming back to what I started this thread in the first place. Who sell a turbo kit preferably a tuner version for an HR and that they'll actually have it in stock?
S&R single kit is a "in-house" install option, which may be the quickest.
And if you are building the engine and building for a big build, dont cut corners and try for the fastest eta kit. Wait it out. I'd wait on Greddy. It tis what tit tis

I have put in an email to my contact at Greddy to see if I can get you a HR kit without having to wait for the new one. I just called and he said he MIGHT be able to get it... he asked me to email him the part number for confirmation and he will forward it to trust Japan and see if they would be willing to ship one.
I have had their VHR kit on my car for 40,000 and 3 years and the manifolds have not cracked. Same manifolds for all the Z kits. On my 350z I did have to replace one for cracking though. Solid engine mounts probably prolong their life some.

Please let me know what they tell you about sending a kit over from trust. I really appreciate your input.

You all have to understand how gun shy MM is about this going to another shop. He really has been through the ringer and I completely understand his weariness in another shop. I would have to say, currently your best bet though is Jtran. Jaxter and I are local, and I would be willing to be your go to guy to go check on things (I bought a car that was from their shop). Jaxter has a pretty good relationship with them aswell.
I would talk to Jaxter pretty in depth and hopefully you can get a warm fuzzy about all this.

I'd say wait for the Greddy kit or get the one through Phunk's contact. I've been waiting on a GTM wastegate conversion kit for my GTM Stg 2 kit for 5 months now. That kit was a little over $1K, and went through CZP. They are having a field half year apparently trying to get that out of GTM. I was expecting this though due to seeing the fun the 370z guys were having with their GTM MHI kit group buy that went south.
But that's 5 month for just a couple pipes and 2 waste-gates, the turbo kits I would imagine would be possibly even longer, so be forewarned. The greddy kit might literally be purchaseable again before you would get your GTM kit from them provided they dont go belly up. I had both 18G and 20G kits on my previous 350z's and they were beasts! Definitely recommend Greddy.

Thank You for your input Juztin, I just dropped of my block at the shop on Saturday to get all the goodies installed. There is even thoughts on making a twin turbo kit for my HR 350Z by the Team at JMS Racing. They built a turbo kit for a customer of theirs GTR and made over 900whp. So there is talk about awesomeness being fabricated onto my car. I am extremely happy!!!
If anybody with a HR is interested in our new BorgWarner TT System, I still need 1-2 HR's in here to test fitment on. Great discounts for participating in our R & D program.
Good thing about laggy is the torque will be lower allowing for more room for gains at the top end and reliability. Bad thing, well the lag. lol

If you had done this a year earlier I would have shipped the car to you and let you do your thing.
I like that mine spools a little later. My daily driver is a duramax, so I'm used to it. It also makes it easier to drive on he street, because even at high HP levels, you can stay out of boost if you need to. It makes the car have a split-personality.
I run a single 6266 and feel its plenty fine.. (built de tho)
some cars can get me on a dig yes of course.. but i like the fact that i can keep reasonable traction and the car isnt going to slide out from behind on the fwy with one drop of rain.. it doesnt put you back in the seat sadly.. but it is a bit more like warp speed in the millenium falcon lol. a slingshot... and thats only on pump w 530 ish whp...ive never driven it w the 650whp q16 gas map tbh..
