Default Compression ratio with 600+hp

Any one running higher than 8:5:1 or 8:8:1 at these power levels?

LMK if you're interested in the pulley I used to get >600whp, I'm selling it in the marketplace...

it all depends on your fuel.

Since I run E85, on my rebuild I'm going from my 9:1 to at least 10.5:1

I've done >700whp on 93 with my 9:1

It will be mostly pump gas at 94 octane. Any detonation issues?

9.1:1 on 93 octane, 15psi 650whp and no issues for two years...knock on wood.

11:1 all stock engine for me (e85 671rwhp).

i am building a 10:1 engine to swap in with larger turbos. sort of wish I would have done more like 10.5:1 but at least with 10:1 I can still push the engine a bit on normal gas if E85 becomes unavailable in the future.
