has anyone taken the fuel rail off? I do not own a Z but I will be working on one next week. I want to contemplate different angles of the install before the day comes. Would like to know if the rails are steel tubes of cast. I would like to remove the rails and drill and tap for an 1/8" npt fitting to use for fuel pressure. How does that sound. Any suggestion welcom.

 

They are steel you might have better luck welding a fitting.
