Default gtm build help

hey guys i finally have my supension dialed in. And a Body kit on the way. but now i am trying to focus on my engine/drivtrain i want the car to be mainly a track and auto cross car but of course ill rough it out and cruise every once in awhile . i have been looking at the gtm long blocks probably the stage 3 i want it to be a forced induction car to about 650is wheel horsepower and its a 6 speed auto witch i would like to keep because i paln on getting the gtm stage 3 transmission with paddle shifters but i am having a hard time figering out a soild forced induction company that can put out bigger numbers. i also can t find a rear end for it or any one that builds some beef up componets for it probably a lsd and a final 3.70 ish or better yet a company that sells the whole rear end. and i can tune it or have someone tune it. and preferiably supercharged because i have a very expesnive header back exhuast.

Read some of this guys Thread about the quality of Sams work, or I should say Lack of quality

high miles CAN lead to mechanical failures after boosting it if you use the stock block, if you want that high of HP you should prob sleeve the cylinders...... not try to be a total dick, but you do need to do some more research. IPP sales the blocks in diff stages, might look there. doing it right you are going to drop 15k at least.

Talk to Kyle @ IPP

I've been on this fourm 12 years, and IPP is your best bet. Hes built a few motors for my friends, and all is good so far.

A few years back I would have said Dynosty, but they have had my friends car for over 2 years to build and put a motor in it. It's finally just getting done. And he paid up front.

I've been talkin s*** about gtm for years. Years later everyone agrees.

I don't like IPP because they outsource machining; there have been a few complaints and failed engines over the years, the only common thread in those failed blocks was IPP. Hard to know for sure.

There are better shops to turn to.

But OP needs to spend some time and do some research

i don think any shop does their own machining. Cant think of of 1 off the top of my head. Everyone is a parts assembler.
