I was wondering about the routing. I would think a 10 row would be an improvement but if I can easily fit a 19 row thats what I'll go with.

$80

Call it $80 in steel braided hoses and spend $40 on a sandwich plate and misc hardware.

Both from the same seller, both are 'best offers' and I'm sure he'd combine shipping...this is all if you're ok putting used (high quality) parts on your car? Some people arent...if it's good enough for nascar than it's good enough for me!

That is a good deal but I'd rather spend some more and get new. I have a thing about stuff being new. On another note, what the hell did you do to your radiator support? Does the OEM bumper fit over all of that?

^that's your prerogative - I almost couldnt care less as long as it functions as new. The oem core support went away and I fab'd up a bracket that holds the radiator and the intercooler. I've got plans to revise it at some point in time here. An oem bumper fits over it but the IC pokes out...but I dont run a bumper cover.

I figure for another 100 bucks I can get a new setup so its no big deal there. What are you goin to change about the support? What air filter are you running?

I want to go to an aluminum frame that the radiator can bolt-in to and make it a little more eye-appealing...the current one is fine but it's ugg and it's heavy...filters are the filters that came with the greddy kit

Why did you decide to change the bracket?

Are either of those custom items or did you just decide to make some more and move them around a bit?

its ~17" tall x 26" wide 4" deep...I run standard temps ~ 200*...Some may argue with me ... but you should run your engine at 200 to 210 degrees - hence a thermostat. I believe oil lubricates best at/around the same temperature.

Running a cooler engine doesnt mean more power or better economy...Theres absolutely nothing wrong with the OEM setup for an OEM setup...if you start running aftermarket pieces that generate more heat than it'd be wise to mitigate that heat. With that being said the OEM cooling system is pretty good and you'd be surprised how efficient it is.

Did you run into issues with the OEM setup or just decide you use some different stuff to ensure you didnt have issues eventually?

Radiators arent intelligent...they have zero moving parts...the OEM has no idea whether I'm running a nissan or aftermarket...The ECU/Haltech takes coolant temp from the OEM coolant temp sensor. My biggest hurdle was bleeding/purging air from the unit.

Were you starting to run hot with your aftermarket parts and the OEM cooling system?

So lately Ive felt that the car just isnt as stable and I'm not as confident in the corners. Last night I got under the car and found the rear differential bushing torn in two places. Looks like I'll be ordering some SPL solid diff bushings today.
