Yeah. I really want know know why he did so poorly. The guys at 2gnt are giving me a hard time, I always have to defend the Z. I don't see how that guy could have lost to a srt-4 with just the stage 1 upgrade.

he didnt lose ... read the srt boards ... they admit that the Z passes him quite quickly at ~100 mph ... watch the vid ... you will notice that the Z starts to reel him in quite quickly .. then bam .. the video is over

Wow, enough tardism an that thread. "Is a shitty POS neon" Give me a break. People are making 500 whp on the stock longblock. I actually have a car with the same motor, but it's the shortblock 2.0L. It's making ~400chp. It's not a neon, It's an srt-4. :P

 

It was also mentioned the Z wasn't tuned properly yet and that the break-in period wasn't done yet.

 

sorry man. I respect those cars and they r pretty quick. But its still a neon. Im not dissin the car or anything like that, but I don't know how these srt-4 owners think that they dont have a neon. Its like putting an engine swap from a prelude into a civic or somthing. Its still a civic.

 

And a STi is still a WRX, an Evo8 is still a lancer. The neon is the best economy car you can buy and that 2.4L motor is a beast. I just wish people would do thier homework before they rip on other cars. It is still a neon, and that's what so good about it. It comes with a LSD and they are talking about building them with all wheel drive. The Srt-4 is the best car you can get in the 20k range, and it can really run with the big guys. It's not much in the looks department, but I don't think the evo8 or sti has much on it in that respect either.
