What I am asking is what the these turbo's can do as in other people experience. I come from planting a 1jzgte into a sc 300 and working on it but the stock internals were pretty beefy but the stock turbos couldnt do much. I have read that these turbo's can do quite a bit more than their stock tune and am curious on others experience.

You can easily make 550whp on those turbos.

But that car will never outrun ugly

Was so excited...23k miles on a 2003 and then a let down.

new rims will quickly fix. Get rid of the red paint on the hood and be done. I would look into 3" true duals.. Berto made I think it was like close to if not 600+ on those 18G's

I was thinking about matching it solid black to maintain a sleek black look. I am looking at some black rims as well. I am going to watch the air/fuel ratio as I turn it up and watch for fuel cuts etc.

Sounds like you aren't familiar with tuning. If so I would not recommend turning up the boost and doing a guess-and-test. It will most likely go horribly wrong. There is more to it than AFR's to watch. you need to listen for knock, adjust timing etc. Take it to a reputable tuner who can do the tune for you.

I personally wouldn't do black anymore that's so 2007 With that aggressive kit I would keep it fun looking and get some quality colored wheels to offset the black. Or any Enkei's would do. Only way I would turn her up would be with a tuner doing his thing. Not worth loosing a motor for a few extra ponies especially since we all know with a proper tune you can get moar powa

It would be worth the drive to a reputable tuner nearby, as you could easily be saying bye to that built block with a guess and test method in minutes at those power levels. If you are just using e-manage I would recommend switching to a more reliable tuning solution as well before tuning such as uprev, or Haltec if you can afford it.

Texas has plenty of shops I would think. Jtran studios in Houston is one that comes to mind that has VQ35 knowledge which is very important.

I was looking at uprev approved places, I do value vq35 knowledge as a requirment. I will give Jtran a call. Thanks.

Don't want to do a 4 hour trip? Sometimes you got to make a trip to get results.. I drove to dynosty which is 7-8 hours away for my tune..

Im fine with a 4 hour trip, i just drove 8h back from getting this car. I am considering dynosty (10h drive) that have some nice similar builds that net what i am looking for.

I'm making 626hp/571ft-lb with the same kit and internals. Like others said, I'd rework the exhaust and get a Haltech if possible (and get it tuned by a reputable place like Dynosty). It'd probably be wise to get a fuel system (i.e. fuel rails, larger pump, etc.) if you don't have one. I got one from CJM and I'm extremely happy with it. Lastly, I'm assuming Arkansas is pretty warm, so I'd look into radiators and oil coolers.

Thats good to know, I can have the exhaust taken care of locally. I am looking more at the Haltech (Were you able to up your idle with haltech). I plan on having the Haltech, fuel pump, rails etc ready to be dropped in at the shop for the tuning. I would hate to get her to the shop and then run out of power due to something simple like the pump lol. Can you link me the one you got from CJM ? Arkansas can get warm but more so humid, I will take a look at oil coolers. I appreciate the response.
