Default Vortech Up Rev on non Up Rev

So I was able to purchase an Up Rev kit (complete) for a Z on a great deal that is new. I own a 03 which is non up rev obviously, I called Vortech and they said I can bolt the kit on there with no problems will give me 2 extra pounds of boost because of the 3.12 pulley. My question is it comes with UniChip, I don't know if the pre made tune for them is the same or not? If not I will purchase upRev and be done, but I live in Terre Haute, Indiana and need someone to tune it. If anyone knows about the Unichip or a tuner or etc, it would be appreciated, thanks!!

You also need to swap out the mounting plate. The plates for revup vs nonrevup are different.

I called them this morning to order the plate and they told me that it will bolt up no issues , that I don't need a new plate.

I think a Rev-up will work on a non rev-up, just not vice versa.

Congrats and good luck! I got 396whp with the 3.12 and stock Vortech intercooler. More power can be had with an intercooler upgrade with a larger surface area for better AIT cooling.

No, I bought the Standard Vortech V3 SCi Tuner Kit for Non rev, but i automatically switched to the 3.12 upon install. I also already had Uprev on my Z so i didnt need to buy that Unichip. Not too knowlegable on Unichip either, im sorry. Im sure someone else here on the site can help you out on that.
