Hey guys,

Quick question, Got a procharger tuned etc. Recently I noticed that my car would hesitate slightly on accelerating. Its a slight hesitation while the boost kicks in at 3,000 rpms. Enough to cause the wheels not to spin out (chirp I guess u could say) in 2nd or 3rd.

I never changed the coil packs and the car has bout 83,000 miles. I was wondering if it could be that? also I have no check engine light on? would a coil pack trigger that?

 

Sounds like a hiccup in the tuning or belt slip

 

Could it be a bad coil pack too?

 

Based on what you said, Sounds like tuning to me.

What happens if you only give it 1/2-3/4 throttle in boost?

 

more than likely not a coil. it is most likely tuning, or at higher rpm the procharger cog belt can skip teeth causing it to run rich for a second and hesitate.
