That problem was due to the flex within the unit. The higher the boost, the more flex, therefore belts would stretch and snap. The only way around this was to support the unit. A simple, easy cheap fix was to install a radius rod. I had a buddy who installed both a torque damper and radius rod and his belts lasted longer than mine. But my Z was a DD, his wasnt.
Did you have any problems with breaking belts at higher boost? May be a dumb question as I'm not sure if procharger ever fixed this problem years ago. I know they use to pop at 12lbs without adding some type of brace. I was looking for a vortech v3. But I am interested in this kit.
