My 6 puck was history around 480 torque I think. It's been years since I ran something like that

I have the Act 6 puck....at about 500 whp....don't rem my exact torque level.

I honestly don't think it is horrible to drive. Guess it depends on one's expectations.

I would hope a $3,000 clutch is noticeably more enjoyable to drive.....just never got a chance to compare. I didn't ask Hal or Dustin if they had any cars they'd let me test drive

Figured I would just ask and put it out there. Looks like I have a lot of other things to take care of so if I could save a few bucks it would help. Can a OS Giken flywheel be resurfaced?

Bumping this thread. Been banging my head against the wall. Lol. Any other clutches out there that will hold the new power goal I'm headed for 7/800 rwhp? I been on the Ats price is crazy!!! Also I talked to active traction services and they told me I would be fine with the CN23280-18. The 1350kg is old clutch that it is now 1800kg. Pedal is 50% heavier then stock tho. But will hold 940hp. Anyone have any input on this Ats? I know I'm racking my brain a lot but this is a big decision for me. I don't want to find out the hard way and have to pull this Trans and drop more on another clutch. What do you guys think bout this clutch or something Else that would hold the power and not break my pocket!

Yeah see I emailed them and they said unfortunately they can't get the 18kg. Only the 1350kg. I don't understand. If there a dealer for Ats why can't they get them. ?? So confused

hit up sales@greenline.jp as well. They may be able to get all the clutches.

Ok so I got a really good price on a triple. They also said 18kg is unavailable. Only the 1350kg on the twin. Now with my power goals at 7/800 rwhp think it is a smart idea to go with the triple carbon? Or will the twin hold? I will be going to drag strip occasionally but mostly street.

I recommend the RPS twin carbon from personal experience. Not many Z/G folks running it but lots of history in the Supra world and domestics. Hal at Dynosty recommended and sourced it after having trouble getting an ATS triple. It feels heavy even with RJ pedal turned to near 100% but it is smooth, easy to drive (with billet steel flywheel). Rated 750 wtq. They do have a triple if you want more torque capacity. As I recall it is not cheap but few good things are.

EDIT: here is the link, http://www.turboclutch.com/Pages/RPS%20BC2M%20LSX.htm

Well after battling with what clutch to go with I finally placed the order today. I kept going back to the Ats. They always say go with you first choice. I just kept going back to it so I will soon be a owner of a ATS triple carbon spec 2 clutch. Thanks for all the input everyone. I will be updating when I receive it and will be posting install as well!

Look up post from XKR -> his ATS triple failed at far below the rated spec. Hopefully you have better luck. By all reports it does drive nicely though. He hated his OS Giken quad until he got the RJM clutch pedal.
