Comparing the different vortech blowers.
Provided that all the other parts are the same. what is the difference in boost levels for the SCI, SI, 928, and the TI?
for example
IF i made 13.5lb of boost with a sci, much would i make with a SI and so forth, provided all the other variables are the same?

CFM is a better way of measuring but with our platforms, under the same conditions, there is about a 2psi increase going from a SCi to a Si. The Ti is kinda in a different category because it not only flows more air but can be spun faster due to the HD design that allows for better bearings. As for the 928, I really don't have much information other than what the manufacture puts on his website.

Thanks Tim and Logical:
I know the CFM numbers, but i was told by a few that i would see more boost from the SI upgrade. obviously, the CFM will be more with the larger blower, so that means that it will make more hp per the same level of boost? I was also told that I would see boost sooner, any truth to that?
I made 13 psi and 440whp on the sci with a fluidampr, 2.87 and 32 jackshaft pulley.
Only upgrades i made with the SI was 34 tooth jackshaft, and 7200rpm cutoff. We shall see what i make. Just trying to break 500. lol

Just from switching the sci to si and putting on the 34 tooth, I made right under 540whp and 495lb of torque at 17 psi. this is using the same tune as the sci...i am sure i could get more with a better tune.

Mind Sharing the dyno sheet and your mod list with your Si upgrade? That's some pretty good gains even before fine tuning. I only plan on 13.5psi now with the 928 till I get a fuel return so by your numbers I should be at about 505-510whp with meth.

I have a buddy who did the same pulley setup (2.87, fludiampr, 34 tooth cog) and his dyno is very similar.
the dyno after tuning is much better and puts out more whp...torque stayed the same.
