I went with the m&h 26" bias ply tire. I had a feeling the Hoosier 27.5's would be too tall just with a tape measure check.

Thanks appreciate it! Ya I wanted to match rear tires and the 27.5 was the only 17in hoosier made so I gave it a try. I saw that both m&h and mickey have a 26in. Mickey also has a 27.5x4 but im not sure if i could get away with that. I was worried the 26in would be too small.

My buddy had a set of welds I tried on the car from his fox body. He was thinking about selling but decided not to. I was worried about the 17's fitting over the AP racing bbk. But there's plenty of room.

Ya I needed a 5mm spacer to clear the akebonos but it works! just need a shorter tire now. Crazy how much lighter these are compared to the jegs stars I was using.

So its been a while since I've given an update. Been having a ton of fun with the car this year!

In April I traveled 24hrs to try out the wannagofast half mile event in Ocala, FL and had a hell of a time ! We managed to get 2 back to back passes at 171mph which is just 1mph short of the standing VQ half mile record! We were probably one of the only cars getting traction down there thanks to Hal from Dynosty hooking us up with a sweet map utilizing traction control feature of the Haltech. This took at lot of power out down low. At the quarter mile mark we were down 10 mph ! Imagine if we hook with all the power! We were not expecting to hit 171 on our first pass ever. You can tell how pumped up we were in the video lol. It was just suppose to be a shake down pass to get a feel for it so we didn't launch or anything and surprise ! The second run tryed a small launch from 4k but then hit limiter in like every gear.

In May we hit the drag strip and got a new personal best of 10.2 @145. Itching closer and closer to the 9's!

Currently in the middle of putting a 10 point cage in the car and getting ready to race at Street Car Takeover in Maryland August 10th where we can try some roll racing earlier in the day and some dig racing later in the afternoon. And the following week I'll be traveling 15hrs to Indy for the Shift Sector's Airstrip 1/2 mile event to try and break that record!

Still garbage ! We need to cut that down to the 1.4s at least. Would like to setup flat foot shifting and make some suspension changes down the road and bring up the two step a lil higher. I think theres alot left on the table that we can reach after a few improvements !

I'm losing a lot of time between gear changes, so for flat foot shifting I had a custom clutch line made so I can run a pressure sensor inline to trigger an ignition cut, etc., it'll be a bit more exact than using the clutch switch

I did a 1.69 60ft on bone stock suspension. this year the entire rear of the car is stiffened solid dif bushings, subframe, all SPL arms, IDS drag shocks, and a fresh set of stickies. I have been working on getting the shocks dialed in which seems I have pretty damn close to right. Really curious to see where the 60ft lands I'm hoping for low 1.5's high 1.4's if the axles stay together. Ive broken 2 this year already.

As for your 2 step for one make sure u do a good burnout I use 2nd gear let it hang on the 2 step and drop the clutch then make sure there's a good amount of smoke in the car. I have the antilag setup at 5750rpm it seems to work really well for me and builds about 10-12psi of boost. I let go of the clutch and the car leaves good Everytime. Unless it breaks an axle lol.

should have pre-painted the non welded sections before install so you could limit your in car spraying. Especially the vertical piece in the dash.

Yes did a phenomenal job! Started masking stuff off , might start painting later today . Dashboard is removable and we already had the windshield out so we have a little more room to get in there. More concerned about in the back where its inetegrated into the plastics.

Heres some pics of how it looks behind the dash. He did an amazing job making the plates to box everything off due to the floor being so uneven
