Greddy TT Install Done!!
Very nice indeed. Congratulations on a job well done..I can only imagine the pain you went through to install yourself. Are you planning on running a test pipe or RT Cats? Without them, you are locking up at least 30hp. Can't wait to see the dynos.
ss350 - I did the install on my own. It's hard but it's doable. Just takes a lot of time and patiences. If you have the funds take it to the shop. If not prepare to have some sore backs.
gq_model_626 - Right now I want to run as is. Get some dyno #. Then take it from there.
Will have some dyno # hopefully in 2-3 weeks.

So when you recommend paying someone else to do it, is it just for the time it takes? For me, doing my own work is more satisfying than the improvements the modifications make. I'm leaning towards the dreamworks s/c myself, but your install looks great and has to be really rewarding. Congrats!
2003z - definitely for the time and frustrations, but it is all worth it once everything falls into place. If I have to do it again and the situation is the same (I have all the time in the world) I would definitely do this on my own. I agree that once I was done there was a sense of satisfaction.
reallyredZ - The install took me about 2.5 weeks. I didn't spend full days on it. I pretty much took my time and work 2-3 hours in the evening after work. On the weekend a couple of hours as well.

350now, what kind of background/experience do you have working on cars? Is this your first turbo kit? I am pretty mechanically inclined and I feel confident that i can install the TT kit on my own, but I have never done anything this major before. The most I've done is install headers with a friend.

What did you think about tightening the nut on the turbo/manifold passenger side? any ideas on how you got it would help. I was only able to get to it with a cut up wrench and i don't think I got it tight enough on mine. thanks CJ

Spazpilot - the nut on the turbo/manifold are tough ones. I used and open-ended wrench and turn little by little. I got it to a point that it was tight that it was not able to turn anymore. I myself am questioning if it was tight enough. Sorry, i know that doesn't help.
Phatmitzu - so far the car hauls. Little to no lag but I can't push it until I resolve an exhaust leak. I am now sure that I have a leak from the driver side manifold to wastegate. The car is drivable but it's a annoying to hear the burbble.
