Default 7675 custom top mount setup

Hi everyone! Its been a long time since I last made a post on here. I figured I should make a new thread sharing the exciting news.

Here is my new custom front tube setup with my custom top mount turbo setup featuring :

Precision 7675 turbo
Precision 66mm wastegate
Extreme Turbo Systems 5in intercooler
custom radiator by Power Cool Systems
Universal AC condensor (yes will still have AC because street car!)
2.5 in crossover pipe
3in hotside from crossover to turbo
3.5in down pipe
3in cold side piping
TID Performance clamps
Custom 4in Titanium exhaust

this setup was made with inspiration from the old record breaking Dynosty setup .

Some of you may remember that Dynosty setup was last in my car with a 6870 precision turbo making the following over at Dynosty with Hal the legend behind the keyboard :
879whp/777tq at 22lbs with ignite red e90
750whp/655tq at 18lbs pump 93

We managed to run a best of 10.01 @146 with a 1.6 60ft at the track at the end of last race season in 2019.

Unfortunately the car was wrecked in January leaving nothing left of that setup so we are now making a come back with V2 !

Stay tuned !

Love it! Although, twin scroll setup would be nicer for a street car.

Do you want some car with that turbo??

Also do you have A/C or what is the "radiator" between the intercooler and actual radiator.

Looking forward to following you on Instagram.

yes that is the AC condenser , just need to make the custom lines and will have AC like before in V1

yes our local fab guy killed it with the tube work who also did the great cage work in V1 . can't take the credit for that

we don't have the tube bending tools to do that type of work yet . the hotside piping on the otherhand was all done with an Eastwood Tig welder and will be using that to make the custom 4in titanium exhaust

Sure do

The downpipe is a 2peice 3.5in design which meets to a 4in Titanium exhaust and we use a Ticon Titanium muffler . The idea behind this was to save weight over using a full stainless exhaust, however, this was too raspy for my liking and I would rather go back to stainless at some point like I had in V1. I would rather scarifice the weight than sound .

Don't mind the burn mark on the bumper. Thats from previous owner who had a tomei touching it .

Oh, snap you are in MA. You bringing it to NE dragway this year? I'm about 45 min from there. I'll show you what a $1800 6psi boost set-up can do

Sorry guys I am awful with keeping things up to date on here .
So we got the car tuned on this setup last Oct. at Dynosty and made this on 28lbs of boost with ignite red e90 fuel :

Shortly after the dyno session we started hearing some concerning noises from the engine. We inspected the oil pan and filter and found some shavings so we had decided to do a full tear down of the motor . This was the same motor from V1. All we did at the time was change out the cracked timing cover in hopes all else was okay. Unfortunately there was internal damage we could not see initially from the accident since we never took it apart. The balancer had taken some front impact and thus smashed the thrust bearings and also bent the crank. It's amazing the car made many countless pulls on this power over and over on the dyno without any catastrophic failure in this condition. Keep in mind this was still the stock open deck block.

Heres a comparison shot of my thrust bearing vs normal

We also saw that our cylinders we separating from the deck surface of the block. We're unsure if this was due with the effects of the accident or if it was just from plain old simple abuse these past couple of years with pushing high hp. So needless to say the block was trashed.

Going forward I have a new block being built and decided to add css to the mix. As far as the heads we are just doing a refresh to the same ones.. Hopefully sometime this month we should be up and running. The motor setup will be exactly the same with the addition of cylinder support system to keep the cylinders from moving at the high hp levels.

Have you considered an aluminum exhaust?

Also what size up-pipe/downpipe did you running?
