Default HELP ID 'ing engine connector

Pulled Endine to rebuild turbos. Everything is going well EXCEPT I can't find the proper location for this connector Behind the passenger side of the engine.

It's the light grey one and the wire has no heat sheilding so it's logical that it doesn't go downward to the depths of the bay.

Any ideas???

AI says it the

✅ What it actually is

That connector is for the EVAP Purge Volume Control Solenoid (also called the purge solenoid).

SO I guess it's ok to leave it just hanging in the wind??

In that area, there's an engine temperature sensor, and if you have a RevUp VQ, there's two cam sensors on the back of the engine (one for intake and one for exhaust). Are all of those connectors accounted for? (Hard to tell in photos).
Your AI answer may actually be correct. I have a mostly stock RevUp VQ, I'll take a look.
