Question 2 questions

1-What keeps the z from safely running over 8psi of boost?fuel delivery or engine internals?what would need to be done to up the boost?

2-Wich TT kit is better between the Greddy and the PE one?Differences?Wich one has more potential?

Thanks for those wholl give me some help

well this is my info i have witch isnt much but from what ive learned from other people here is:

1.) Fuel delivery and timing adjustments are needed with up to 8psi of boost.
Fuel delivery, timing adjustments, lower compression, pistons, rods etc. are needed over 8psi of boost to be safe.

2.) I would say the Greddy and PE turbo set ups are both awesome and equal other than price, and this is one case i can say you dont get anything extra for the bigger price PE charges, they are just over priced from what I can see. Go with the GREDDY TT due to price alone. They both have the potential with major internal upgrades to plant you hard in your seat smiling all the way as you blow the door off most anything on the road.

Just my 2 cents, I hope my opinion helps you in some way.

Take care,

SCer, more fuel and retard the timing.
TT, maybe a MAF issue.

As for TT's I think we should wait and see a few P.E.'s installed and running like we do with other kits before we make that determination.

I am going to go out on a limb here. But with fuel, timing, and MAF issues addressed, I am going to predict that the stock internals can safely talk 10-12psi. It just takes some time for people to experiment and innovate. You heard it here first!

If you look back at the Honda days, people paniced at 6psi....now they are boosting 12-15psi on stock internals.

I was at 11, then 10 and now have been at nine for seveal weeks. It's safe to say that with the right A/F and timing the car will take at least 9 PSI because I drive it like I stole it. Just ask any passenger who has been in my car. I hit 9.5 in colder weather but lately it has been 81 degrees and I noticed it had a little less pull. So I am either gonna buy a Z06 or a Torque Converter , I'm leaning towards thw TC haha when I get these wild hairs as I call them I just do it so expect pics soon.

9 PSI is just fine Blown on my stock internals but so was 10.
