I dont care for auto's myself but with a screen name like that, you wont be liked by a few of the folks here.

I dont think NISMO or Nissan have leaked any news of a TT for the 350Z, but JWT has. I think that is just as good or better.

As for actual news of a TT 350Z from the factory or through NISMO, I highly doubt it although I don't know for sure. What I am realistically basing it on is the fact that if they are to make one and sell it, it probably won't be until maybe 2006-2008 somewhere in there, which if you have been reading all the automotive news, is when Nissan is supposedly bringing the new R35 GT-R to the states and that car is supposed to have somewhere from 350-380hp from either a VQ35DETT or VQ33DETT from what I have read. So yes Nissan has a "twin turbo Z" engine in the works but it won't be offered in the actual 350Z but rather in the new R35 GT-R which will be selling for 50-70K! What would be the point of selling a TT 350Z when it will probably directly compete with the R35 that Nissan plans on selling? Again when and what Nissan actually produces no one knows but all of that automotive news stuff that's floating around everywhere has got to be valid at least partly. So no don't get your hopes up for a TT 350Z anytime soon, if at all.

^ Exactly. I doubt nissan will release a turbo Z, it would kill the sales of the more expensive GTR that they have already announced.

well a good amount of us on here probably won't have the money to afford the R35 GTR anyway and since Nissan won't turbo the Z for us and offer a warranty to back it up, we just have to turbo it ourselves.

I read in one of the tuner mags that the G35-4D is the Skyline in JDM? Is there another one or this incorrect info? The info claimed that the new G35-4D/Skyline was N/A not F/I. It was AWD though. Of course the USDM G35-4D is AWD here also, makes sense?

In japan, the Nissan Skyline is the USDM Infiniti G35. The "classic" skyline" (R32-R34) as we knew it, is dead for the time being. It will have a revival with the GT-R that will be debuting at the Tokyo Auto Show in 2007. It will most likely be in the $40k-$50k range and be on the Nissan side.

I personally think Nissan may develop a TT 350Z. They have had problems in the past with turbos, but with new technologies it is much easier for reliability. Also, nearly every Z has been avaliable from the factory with a Turbo, this one shouldn't miss out...

I guess not nearly every, the first turbo Z was avaliable in 1981 (280zx), turbo was an option on the first 300zx in 1984. It was also avaliable on the Z32's (TT) which began in 1990.

The 280zx was a different car altogether and came with an optional turbo.
