Well, Vortech makes good products, and some members in this board have them, and it seems that they are happy with it.

They can answer that better

what i don't understand with dream workes is they were claiming that this kit would be out the 1st of jan. they were stating wait to hear the big news first of the year. well that came and gone. then we didn't hear anything from them for a while. next was, we should hear something mid to late march. now that has come and gone. does anyone from dream workes even post on the board anymore? i am really interested in this kit but, with all of the unsures from them how would someone be able to really put their money on it? i have alittle before i would like to buy anyway but, i would like to see the kit out for a month or so before buying. if TT setups weren't so much i'd really look in that direction but, it's looking like vortech is going to be king on the street for best power increase for the dollar. does anyone else agree or disagree with me on this. now i would like for them to put a good and reliable product out but, 5 months later and still no new pics or news even. glad i'm not in a rush but, with all of these FI installs going on it makes it hard not to go out and spend the money that's for sure. if i were to get a ride or drive in a vortech equiped car i may be buying that kit for sure. the dw kit was looking really good because of the warranty. but i guess well have to wait and see just what happens.

The only issue with Vortech and an auto is the modifying the piping to fit around the trans. coolant lines . Oh and you have to have Technosquare flash the ECU to 7,200 rpm red line so it shifts at WOT .I have mine on order and should be shipped next week. Others have already installed on an auto with no problems with fitment....As for the TT and 402whp with 6.4lbs of boost.....there is some arguement going on....if you can get that much hp from 6.4 lb when all others are getting that with 8lbs

The vortech kit detonates and loses power at 6000RPM according to SportZ Magazine. They do make some good stuff though. I don't think they have their computer management figured out yet. You need to check out the reviews from the magazine on their kit. Be careful. They don't offer a warranty and the kit ain't street legal.... (but who cares about that. - just keep lookin' in the rear view mirror.

Hey chickies! How many pounds of boost ya' want?

NOSty.

This example was one guys car, on one specific day, to say that the Vortech kit detonates and loses power at 6000rpm is somewhat of a bold and inaccurate statement. The guy who had the vortech kit they tested that day could have been running on incorrect gas, not used 1 step colder plugs, and could even have the piggyback ecu setup incorrectly.
Check out Fluidz recent dyno, spot on out of the box, with tuning still to do.
1 persons dyno pull cannot give you a total review of a product.

My car runs absolutely perfect and does not DETONATE one bit......how could it with A/F ratios in the 10's, timing pulled way back, good gas and 1 step colder iridium plugs??? I for one can almost promise you the guys car in that shoot out did not have colder plugs and he dick*d with his SS Box or he did something not right. As far as losing power after 6,000rpm.........I gained 33rwhp after 6,000rpm.
