My Dyno Charts: Stock vs. Twin-Turbo... (PIC)
Watch out for the carbon clutches especially carbon on carbon. Some peeps been doing carbon clutches around here (South Florida) with nitrous or forced induction and have been breaking all the shafts within the tranny. One local dealer is looking into it and has found that those clutches put too much stress on the tranny and breaks stuff. THey are recommending going with something else with a little less grab, but still strong enough to handle the torque specs of your ride. There is a company building custom tace Z trannys that can handle that type of stress, i.e. carbon on carbon, but they are running close to $10K.
is there a FAQ section? There is so many questions i would like to ask. For one.. whats the highest can you go on HP power with stock internals? I was told 500.. just wanted to clarify things up a bit. Has anyone ever ran too rich or had a lot of mis-fire in between shifts?
Long story short. I used to own a 91MR2T, someone hit my rear end really bad and he didnt have insurance blah blah.. waiting for my new Z to come home.
Im just worried about leading the engine into detonation. Is the greddy kit the preferable kit out there for the 350z? Cause im not diggin the tial wastegate. heard too many bad things about that company and how it always gives you boost spikes.
