Default Basically a belt driven HKS turbo

running 6psi, dual auxialliary injectors. HKS went this route because they saw the writing on the wall, it's getting damn near impossible to get a turbo kit to pass CARB and every state is adopting CARB specs in the next few years.

That looks like a much more modern design than the other SCs out there. Its beutiful. it makes the Stillen SC look like a sewing machine!

No kidding. Makes the ATI kit look homemade.

We spoke to the reps at SEMA, and they said the power increase is only 75hp over stock.

It does look a pretty kit, but the only thing really making it look so different is that fancy carbon engine cover.
75BHP??? I'll put money on it being mega expensive as well.
No doubt the quality will be good, though.

Yup, expensive alright. For only est 75HP, it will MSRP $6,000 according HKS at the show. But hopefully 75 is not true.

No one would buy it if it only produced 75hp for $6k. I hope that is wrong

IIRC, the rep told me that they saw 75whp gain over stock. And the price would be around $6k, as the others have said.

Also, this kit includes a small intercooler. I will post a pic when I get them all fixed for web viewing, if someone doesn't do it before me.

The price is 6k, but HKS is not known for its bargain pricing. The intercooler is fairly small, it does not take up the whole front of the bumper like most FMICs do. It definitely screams quality.

Id hit it

Wht so hard to get the Twin Turbo to pass the CARB test? The only significant issue I can think of is the cat light up time. Would be interested to hear your thoughts on the issue.

Thanks

Peter

Yep, the turbo's pull heat from the precats and the system fails because they don't light up in time. I believe it's the USO 6 parameter.
